humongous2002 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2004 Sorry dude, Brock is a very dull talker, his promos are not main event material and he is still uncomfortable with the mic, good thing he is entertaining in the ring and el Brocko bit had me in stitches. Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 14, 2004 I think Brock is just fine in the backstage skits (like the one with Heyman) but the guy is on Yokozuna levels when it comes to doing it in the ring....

I would never call Brock dull after "they swam a long way to be here" line. personally, I won't judge Brock's mic work since he came from a different background and is still fairly new to pro wrestling overall. I mean the guy started watching sports entertainment in 1999. If for anything, I am impressed with how far good Brock has become as a sports entertainer in only 2 years. I believe he needs a few more years to be fair. On the other hand, Eddie has atleast 15 years experience of working the crowd in the entertainment business. RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2004 Brock needs to watch some Los Gringos Locos tapes. "The Love Manster" Art Barr-ock Lesnar!
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2004 He never gets the praise for it --- but the past few weeks, Eddy Guerrero has shown that he is REALLY good on the mic. I mean, REAL good. He never really gets the praise he deserves, but I am glad that when given the chance to work the mic recently, he's delivered in droves. -=Mike Eddy has always been a great talker and as far as i know he's always been praised by (almost)everybody on this board. You should start paying more attention on what's going on in TSM besides RVD hating. And by the way Brock still sucks at cutting promos, he makes Benoit look like Ric Flair. Having just watch Benoit's 'acting skills' on both Raw and at SurSer 02 and the Flair DVD in the past day, that is one heck of an over-statement buddy. Brock's mic skills are fine and dandy right now, and the crack about the Mariachis swimming a long way got a cheap laugh out of me. Hell, he's come a long way. And what was the point of the RVD comment? You need to get over yourself on that subject, because that's all we seem to hear from you. On topic, Eddie promo was awesome on Smackdown. Awesome. The mic skills are what makes him probably the number one all-rounder in America.
The Kid 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2004 I think that Eddie's promos these past few weeks have sold me on buying No Way Out. I never catch Smackdown except for the past few weeks and I like the old-school feel that the Eddie/Brock fued has got.
