LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 So, I got an SP today because I've been wanting to get one and they were on sale for $89.99. I didn't pick up a game yet because the main one I wanted to try was the Pirates of the Carribean game and they did not sell it where I bought mine from. I was looking at the other games and the main ones that caught my eye were the usual Marios and Donkey Kongs, so I just passed. I looked briefly at Fire Pro, which alone almost caused me to buy the first Gameboy Advance, but that was marked $40 where I was. I know games generally tend to be the same price, but I wanted to double check on that one. Any suggestions on what GBA to get? Which ones to stay away from? Any input would be appreciated.
Guest Coffey Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 Is the new River City Ransom game out yet? If so, get that. I heard good things about that Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga game too...or whatever it's called. Anything Castlevania.
TheFranchise Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 Donkey Kong is and was great. Zelda: A Link To The Past and Four Swords.
Renegade Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 Anything Castlevania. I disagree with this. DO NOT get Circle of the moon. Aria of sorrow is the way to go
Renegade Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 Eh, Circle of the moon was crap Imo, HoD and AoS were good.

LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted February 15, 2004 Author Report Posted February 15, 2004 thanks for the tips. I am going to have to check some of those out.
AndrewTS Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 You can pick up Fire Pro Wrestling 1 for the GBA for $2.99 used at Gamestop. I got the official guide from EB for 49 cents.
Lightning Flik Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 CIMA: The Enemy is one that I highly recommend if you want something truly different/unique.
Ced Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 Dodgeball *puts a gun to SO3's head* Tell me where I can buy this...nooooooow... Anyway, don't get Ultimate Muscle. I got it for three bucks and I still feel like I got ripped off. I think the Mario Advance series is a good buy IMHO if you want some old school on the go.
