Then you didn't get the point I was going for. Sorry. Be shocked, be appalled... whatever. I have stopped caring, to be honest.

Here's the thing: I like the WWE right now, as it stands. You don't for reasons that I can't begin to fathom. We will never agree on anything, so I am going to stop wasting my words.

Sorry I ever started...

I'm sorry, I don't normally do this, but I have absolutely no reason to read whatever you wrote below after reading this. I am just shocked. Absolutely shocked. Not surprised. But shocked.

I second his question actually. When has this Utopian vision of wrestling ever existed?

They're called standards. You don't have them, I do. Loss, apparently, doesn't either.

That statement suggests that you don't know that I've been online for four years and have been the harshest critic of the company at many times.

I have standards. Push the guys I like. Give me good matches. Give me storylines that don't offend me. Don't do anything so stupid that it costs you your fanbase.

WWE was guilty of all these things at one point. They aren't now.

You still haven't answered the question. When did this Utopian period in wrestling history exist?

None of the PPVS listed compare to J-day 2000. The best WWE ironman match ever, a cool submission match, a fun 3-way, a real fun opener...blows away the cards mentioned above. The fact that vengeance is being touted as having multiple **** matches REALLY makes me wonder where the fuck standards have gone.

When has a company with this much money at their disposal and this much talent existed?

Once.

WCW.

Dead.

If you think WWE has even approached WCW 2000-level bad booking and fan apathy, you're totally wrong. They have yet to drop below a 3.0 in the ratings, buyrates are generally still between 0.5-1.0 and they still have over stars.

No shit. I look back on the "good days" and I see just as many plot-holes and such then. The only difference was many current smarks were marks then and didn't give a shit. I'm sure there were smarks of those days too, who were bitching just like we are.
