EVIL~! alkeiper Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 One problem I just realized. With the paucity of shutouts in MLB, we're going to end up with a shit-load of ties in at least one category every week.
razazteca Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Don't forget the errors on the batters side.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Quiet. With my catcher DHing, I'm going to clean up in that category. Besides, we'll see errors, as the top guys make 20 errors a season. For errors, I'd debate that errors are rarely indicative of a player's fielding skill.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 Al, I think your sig is unintentionally funny. Â Avoid Jesus' fate? What, get drafted by the Red Sox? Â Anyway, I wish we were still doing the draft on the board to pass time between now and monday.
razazteca Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 The big question is where is Cuban Linx?
Vern Gagne Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 Who the hell is that Al? Grizzley Adams.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 Who the hell is that Al? Grizzley Adams. I think he said it was Johnny Damon.
Cuban Linx Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 The big question is where is Cuban Linx? I have no idea.
Sandman9000 Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 Who the hell is that Al? Grizzley Adams. I think he said it was Johnny Damon. Nice of Johnny Damon to unthaw for the regular season.
razazteca Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 The big question is where is Cuban Linx? I have no idea. So you want one of the Tigers Pitchers right?
Lightning Flik Posted March 1, 2004 Author Report Posted March 1, 2004 Part 2 still tomorrow night? 9pm EST tomorrow. Â Oh and we'll be starting in midst of Round 11, Cuban Linx's turn. Â Anyone don't show, we "autopick" your draft picks. Because everyone agreed to show up.
razazteca Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 Autopicks should be Tigers, Pirates, Devilrays.
Cuban Linx Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 I'll be there, though i may not be able to stay for the whole thing. I'll be there for the majority of it though, and for any rounds i miss just draft me anyone you want, i won't care.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 I'll take drafting duties for anyone is they would like. I have a checklist, and I guarantee fairness. Of course, I also think Jay Bell is a HUGE fantasy sleeper.
Lightning Flik Posted March 1, 2004 Author Report Posted March 1, 2004 Well, we are only LESS THAN SIX HOURS AWAY FROM THE DRAFT~! Â Please be noted that I will have the chat room up and running half an hour early (like last time) just to make sure we get everyone in. Â We will only be going till midnight again. And should we not complete the draft in time, there final round or two (that's about all there will be probably) will be autopicked. Most likely by alkeiper since he's such a nice guy about it.
HarleyQuinn Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 *burns the fucking Checklist*  Good News -Have a multitude of prospects left in my need positions, weakest position'll go the upcoming erm, round  Bad News -Odds are Al'll give me a shitty guy if it goes to autopick because he secretly fears my team
Lightning Flik Posted March 1, 2004 Author Report Posted March 1, 2004 *burns the fucking Checklist* Good News -Have a multitude of prospects left in my need positions, weakest position'll go the upcoming erm, round  Bad News -Odds are Al'll give me a shitty guy if it goes to autopick because he secretly fears my team Since we did ten rounds last week, and we are started round 11, I'm more than sure enough that we'll get through round 20 before midnight hits.
HarleyQuinn Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 I wouldn't be surprised to see this go a tad bit longer just for people racing to find that key sleeper that nobody else's taken
Lightning Flik Posted March 1, 2004 Author Report Posted March 1, 2004 I wouldn't be surprised to see this go a tad bit longer just for people racing to find that key sleeper that nobody else's taken Considering all the good players or players that just happened to be good last year have pretty much been taken as of right now. Now it's all find some place holders. Â I think as soon as we get the pre-season officially underway, there probably will be quite a plentiful amount of trades before we get to the season opener.

Lightning Flik Posted March 2, 2004 Author Report Posted March 2, 2004 The Worst Team will be who's up for picking, just so you people know. But, but, but I wanna to pick out of order I could let you do that, but I get my ten picks first. Â Only fair.
razazteca Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 If you're willing to make a few trades then I shall agree with that.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 If we don't finish, we'll have at least gotten to the bench players. Why not input the teams, and let teams fill out their bench via waiver rules?
Lightning Flik Posted March 2, 2004 Author Report Posted March 2, 2004 If you're willing to make a few trades then I shall agree with that. But of course. I mean, I'm not a cold hearted bastard. I'll take Jason Veritek and Estaban Loiaza, and trade you for like... Mark Prior and Jim Thome. Plus like two other guys. Â See? That's so nice of me to do so.
razazteca Posted March 2, 2004 Report Posted March 2, 2004 Maybe send Halladay my way and we have a deal.
