Hoff Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 I saw someone started a thread for SWF in GC. Well fuck those fuckers. I know there's a lot of cool people in here, and smart too. I think it'd be cool if more people joined. I know IZ (one of the two brands, for those not in the know) could use more people, and it's a lot of fun. I hope I'm not overstepping my boundaries, but I always feel the more, the merrier. There's a link in my sig (or you could SCROLL DOWN...lazy.). Give it a try, you might like it.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Come and check out the hottest feud in the OAOAST: CWM VS. Hoff Hoff crippled his mentor cwm...he never thought he'd have see him again... he was wrong.
Guest Ray Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 What exactly is "the OAOAST" ? I don't scroll down, to sigs or past the wrestling forums, usually...
Hoff Posted February 19, 2004 Author Report Posted February 19, 2004 An efed. Basiclaly, you control one or multiple characters, and write prmos and matches for them. If you're a wrestling fan, it's a lot of fun, and if (like me) you can REALLY lose yourself in your imagination, it's a kind of alternative to the WWE. Hopefully someone else can give more history. Also, check out our last PPV: OAOAST Anglepalooza
Guest Ray Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 I'm really too lazy for that kind of thing. And I have little imagination. Basically, I suck.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Approximately, how many hours each week does one have to put in as a character in this mystical efed? I don't like things that resemble work too closely
Lightning Flik Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 I'd return, but I doubt I'd be welcomed. Also, I'm currently trying to run two diary feds now. And run like two Fantasy leagues. And someone inbetween insomniacism, have a life. Besides, I doubt anyone from OAOAST would like me back.
Mystery Eskimo Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Approximately, how many hours each week does one have to put in as a character in this mystical efed? I don't like things that resemble work too closely You dont have to write every week - you can put in as much or as little as you like, really. It's more about quality than quantity.
Stephen Joseph Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 There's a thread once you click on the OAOAST folder called INTRO TO THE OAOAST Read that there.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 I have an idea for a character that'd be funny as a one time shot. How about a guy with no control over his bowels or bladder, that shits himself explosively every time he gets grappled, or flexes his abs. Eventually, he passes out from dehydration face-first into his own excrement, and gets counted out, doing a stretcher job and never returning.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Someone else has to write it though, because fantasizing about wrestling is gay. There's the idea, gratis.
Zack Malibu Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 I'd return, but I doubt I'd be welcomed. Also, I'm currently trying to run two diary feds now. And run like two Fantasy leagues. And someone inbetween insomniacism, have a life. Besides, I doubt anyone from OAOAST would like me back. Chants "We Want Slacks! We Want Slacks!"
Guest Homeless Guy Spare Some Change Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 are homeless people invited, you know i wouldn't want to bring them into emission.
caboose Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Don't let ^ join. He'll stink up the thread with his homeless musk.

Art Sandusky Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 (cries because his return announcement was no-sold) My two months on HD ruled, man!
Zack Malibu Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 (cries because his return announcement was no-sold) My two months on HD ruled, man! I marked for it. It was on AIM, and it was a week ago, but I marked for it.
Stephen Joseph Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Does this mean we will have official OAOAST GlowSticks?
Art Sandusky Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Sure, why not. Anything to generate REVENUE~!
Hoff Posted February 19, 2004 Author Report Posted February 19, 2004 I marked with cautious optimism. THUMBTACK! Since no one answered your question, I will. I probably put in an hour or two each week as far as actually writing and editing my stuff goes. The main time spent is just brainstorming and thinking of ideas.
Stephen Joseph Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 I do this while at work, so time isn't really a factor for me
Zack Malibu Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Also, if you're feeling a bit of writer's block, or can't keep up for a week, the people involved with you will cover for you as long as advance notice is given. Everyone is really good at helping each other out.
{''({o..o})''} Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Eventually, I will end up joining OAOAST, and when I do, ALL SHALL TREMBLE BEFORE THE MIGHT OF ZACK'S WANG!
Hank Kingsley Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 The OAOAST is more fun when you have a parody character, ie Angle-plex and I collaborating on "Big Poppa Poplex" and his priest friend Schaeffer, the two greatest characters in e-fed history. Oh, and SWF > OAOAST, btw.
Zack Malibu Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Eventually, I will end up joining OAOAST, and when I do, ALL SHALL TREMBLE BEFORE THE MIGHT OF ZACK'S WANG! Except me. I am one with the might of Zack's Wang.
k thx Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 I would join, but it really seems like too much hard work. Plus, there's too much stuff to catch up on, and I'm too lazy. Plus, I have no imagination. However, I reccommend it to anybody who's better than me. Of all the e-feds I've seen, the people, stories and atmosphere are up there with the best.
{''({o..o})''} Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Eventually, I will end up joining OAOAST, and when I do, ALL SHALL TREMBLE BEFORE THE MIGHT OF ZACK'S WANG! Except me. I am one with the might of Zack's Wang. You were until you abused it's almighty POWER! EDIT: Zack's Wang is not as almighty as Hoff
Lightning Flik Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Chants "We Want Slacks! We Want Slacks!" ... *knew you'd say something like that* And I don't know if I'll return to e-feding. I'm still a fan of wrestling, but I doubt I can gusto out what I'd need to do, to prove that I belong with everyone else. ...in other words, I'd suck big time. Why did you leave again? And why wouldn't you be welcome? I left because I just couldn't bring myself to writing it up. I hit the end of a long road of depression and upsets in my life and frankly I wanted to get away from it all. Hence, I had Northstar bust me up and I was supposed to make a comeback, but that failed to materialize due to I was still messed up, and I didn't really get the feedback I needed (at the time) to keep motivated. It probably didn't help that I didn't let on that it was me. I thought I wouldn't be welcomed because I did exactly what I had in the SJL, where I returned, yet never did much of anything before leaving yet again.
caboose Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 I thought I wouldn't be welcomed because I did exactly what I had in the SJL, where I returned, yet never did much of anything before leaving yet again. HA! You should look at my list of bullshit comebacks. I'm worse than 1999-2001 WCW on my own. I originally left while I was the OAOAST World Champion in July of 2002. 1) I returned in December of 2002, only to leave again within two weeks because of BPP. Don't ask, its a long story. (In between I actually created a second character, Naz Mistry) 2) I then returned again shortly after AngleMania II in Mid-Apri 2003l. I actually hung about until AngleSlam in late August 2003, before again disappearing. 3) I made a failed comeback bid in September, before not showing up again. 4) I then made a further comeback bid in November, before giving up again. I then became the third commentator on HeldDown, which means I have to do no work whatsoever. 5) I then tried to sort another comeback with Ragdoll, but it fell through. 6?)I'm trying to figure something for AngleMania III, but I doubt it will materialise.
