Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Seeing that the Hardy Boyz burned out as far as they could go and the Dudleyz are no longer nearly as big a draw as they used to be with marks, would it be better to move Christian to Raw instead of moving Edge to SmackDown and reform E&C? The SD tag titles are just a realm of absolute DEATH right now and putting some strong heels who we also haven't seen in a while could do a lot to revive the scene. On the other hand, it also means delaying Edge's big push. My arguement to that is that we though we've seen "Edge's big push" several times already and the push never turns out to be as big or as successful as we think it would be. It'd also give Eddie a bit more time at the top while he's a ratings draw. Last time I proposed this question about a year ago (I think) everyone told me that I was off my rocker, so now I'm going to try again. Edge & Christian cocky heel reunion? Please? MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 I doubt E & C will reform, unless its after HHH eats..oops..beats Edge and they don't have anything else to do with him.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted February 21, 2004 I want them to reunite, but stay singles stars.
MooreMark 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 The first part makes no sense. But for the reunion..I'd like to see it with more titles involved. Sort of like Christian has the IC and Edge has the World and then they reunite to take the tag titles. I don't think it would go well with the smarks though. Reunite as allies but not officially as a tag team. Y'know do skits together, occasionally team but stay singles. His comment really wasn't all that ambiguous. Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 The first part makes no sense. Well the only teamleft from the immensely popular tag team rankings of WWF 2000-2001 that hasn't totally burned out was Edge & Christian, because they split up early. The Dudleys reunion seemed like a breath of fresh air after their singles pushes but quickly went to shit again, Jeff Hardy is gone and Matt Hardy is languishing around on Heat. You fucked up! You fucked up! You fucked up! LOL I wouldn't really care about an E&C reunion. I was tired of them always being in the title scene in by early 2001 and thankfully they split. Maybe I will change my mind if they did and did some entertaining stuff.
Highland 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 (edited) I'd mark out for an E&C reunion. That Yankees promo in Atlanta was a classic. Edited February 21, 2004 by Naibus
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 I doubt they'll ever top their promo before Fully Loaded 2000 in Dallas. Now THAT was some heat.

It'll make HHH happy, and a happy Triple H is a hard working HHH. Wait a minute, no it's not! Well, he hasn't buried Edge yet so it'll be something fresh by WWE standards. Besides, at this point I'd take a Steiner Brothers reunion over Triple H vs Edge. I'd take a return of Katie Vick over HHH "giving Edge the rub".
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 21, 2004 I figure at some point, Edge and Christian will reunite... Before the HYPED Edge return to battle with HHH, I was expecting X to turn on Jericho (when they had that title shot) and Join forces with former rival Matt Hardy and win the tag titles with him and for Edge to be Jericho's mystery partner for WMXX. That's not what I meant. I didn't mention Triple H at all.
