Very good acting from Macy and Baldwin and the hotness of Bello was very nice. Not much in the plot but three good actors doing their thing is always fun.

Hercules, Samson, and Ulysses(1963) - Hercules meets up with Samson to take down a Philistine tyrant. It was not as bad as I expected, and turned to be fairly inoffensive. 5.5/10

that's insane, that's like six hours of film. i can only imagine the internal monologue that inspired this:

 

"wow, what a great, long movie 'pulp fiction' is. i'm exhausted. what should i do now?...oh, i know! i'll watch 'the godfather part II'! THAT'LL get me energized!"

Bah, that's nothing. Try watching seven and a half straight hours of Ingmar Bergman-movies (as I did on friday) and imagine how that felt. Good thing I like Bergman. Good thing I like Bergman.

 

Oh, the films were Wild Strawberries, Through a Glass Darkly, Winter Light, The Silence and Persona.

 

And as for an explanation as to why I'd spend seven plus hours of a friday night watching Bergman movies, I'm writing a paper on the aesthetic developments during Bergman's career, coupled with the autobiographical phenomena of his work, as it interrelates with his autobiographies.
