Guest AP Newswire Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 DEAN DISAPPEARANCE (AP File Photo) MONTPELIER, THURSDAY - Former Vermont governor and Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean has been reported as missing by his wife Judith, police said in a press conference this morning. "Governor Dean reportedly rose from bed in the middle of the night and was nowhere to be found this morning," said the chief of police. "We have several small leads, but not much to go on." Dean, 54, had recently dropped out of the contest for the Democratic presidential nomination after a disappointing series of primary returns following one of the more energetic campaigns in recent memory. His next project was to be a possible liberal think-tank or a position with moveon.org. The remaining candidates, working towards the Super Tuesday primaries where hundreds of delegates are in contention, offered their sympathies for the Dean family. Mods don't enforce the rule unless somebody complains about it anyways
