If you're talking about how Cheney was once Pres of Halliburton I am amazed. I had never heard that before.

 

A simple search of "Cheney bribery" on Yahoo News reveals what I think you were talking about. The report is dated Feburary 4th and it talks about Halliburton (not Cheney himself) taking kickbacks in Nigeria.

Well I'd give it a couple reasons. This reminds me a lot like the whitewater scam the Clintons pulled that got dug up during the 90s. The whole ordeal was so confusing and convuluted that it was difficult for people in the SEC and Justice Dept. to follow, let alone the average joe shmoe so while it got some press it didn't get a lot of attention or grip people's attention. In fact it was so confusing that SNL did a hilarious parody with several big artists (imitated by the cast) performing a song explaining the whole thing (the image of Flea in his underwear jumping up and down singing a song explaining how the Clintons manipulated cattle futures still makes me laugh). But the point is, this is not exactly the easiest thing in the world to follow and its a very iffy pin on Cheney anyway so it won't grab much media attention.
