IDRM, I think it'd be overkill to quote your entire post just to say thanks, so I'm skipping the 'quote' part and just saying thanks. I agree, it's hard to tell what's the truth and what's been exaggerated to sell books or increase hits on a webpage. Regardless of how much was true, Fish was crazier than a loon, and deserved to die for killing kids.

Chris Wilder was the Beauty Queen Killer. I always thought he looked like Jim Henson personally

I remember a long time ago on Unsolved Mysteries they floated this theory that the Zodiac Killer and Unibomber were the same people. This was before the 'Bomber was caught and I doubt anything came of it, but, yeah.

on Zodiac killer.com there's a section about the Unibomber/Zodiac "connection"

The only thing I wonder at this point, is how many serial killers have actually drank rats milk.

Are you suggesting Owen Wilson can beat up a guy who killed over 60 people?

No, but I think I could. I am just pointing out how having your nose broken doesn't turn you into the Incredible Hulk. I would outwit him and prepare ahead. I'm hearing so much about how tough he is, but a decent MMA fighter would also take him, and probably a million times faster than me.

*LMAO* That was great. Maybe if he had Ben Stiller's help!

Andre often tore people open with his bare hands. You'd be punching him in the face and he would be busy trying to rip through your abdoman ignoring your punches. The amount of police it took to restrain the man was absurd.

This is likely exaggerated. Everyone changes the story to make it cooler, and it eventually becomes outlandish to me.

There's a program on A&E this Tuesday at 8PM EST on Ed Gein.

Dhamer - After drilling a hole in his last victim's head and pouring acid into it he decided to go take a bath or a nap...something like that. The victim however wasn't dead and stumbled his way to the street corner naked screaming for help and repeating Dhamer's name and pointing at the house. Police took the young man back to the house where Dhamer reported the 14 year old was actually his 19 year old gay lover who was drunk. The next day the family reported the child missing, Dhamer's house was searched, the rest is history. As they said in Monty Python's "Search for the Holy Grail" movie "Next time make sure your dead are actually dead"

Actually.. that kid was strangled. The neighbors couldn't get the police to search his house or anything, even after the kid was reported missing.

The name of that kid was Konerak Sinthasomphone.

The name of the guy who escaped and got the cops to search his house was Tracy Edwards.

Ramirez might lose some points since he was nearly beaten to death in a Barrio. It appears that when your face is on every paper in the state, the guys in the Hispanic neighborhood will beat your ass if you try to steal a car

Richard "Iceman" Kuklinski doesn't count, but he did kill guys in hits by spraying cyanide on them.

Kuklinski did fuck up when he killed the source of his cyanide, "Mister Softee" Robert Prongay.

That's not a name, that's a bad scrabble hand.

Dahmer also drugged and fondled Konerak's brother. Dahmer plead guilty to sexual exploitation.

Every successful serial killer can credit his success to the police fucking up.

The police didn't do a fucking background check on Dahmer, if they did, they would have known he was on probation for sexual assault.

Servo, The Touch of Satan ;)

anyway, true story...my great aunt used to be a teacher, elementary/middle-school level. one of her students was one of the Hillside Stranglers, Ken Bianchi. for the uninformed, he and his cousin, Angelo Buono, raped and killed a bunch of women in California and Washington. after being caught, he tried to escape the death penalty by claiming insanity, and even did a convincing job of coming up with split-personalities, which later turned out false. anyway, he writes my aunt from prison often. i've read a few of the letters, and he admitted that the split-personality thing was bullshit, but still contends that he didn't do it. he even sent her a part of a manuscript from a book this guy is writing about how the cops completely botched the investigation, and pinned the crime on Bianchi just to get it done and over with and prevent a further outcry. interesting therory, even if i personally think it's a crock of shit. even my aunt told him so. she told him numerous times that she thinks he did it. once, he got pissy with her because he thought she talked to a reporter about him, when in fact she didn't. otherwise, he always came off polite in his letters.

if that's not weird enough, there's this. Bianchi's from my hometown, Rochester, NY. on the street i grew up on, two doors down lived a lesbian couple. one of them used to live with Bianchi. there was a series of killings around that time ('70's, i think) called the "Double Initial Murders", a bunch of women who had the same intials in their first and last names, that went unsolved for years. after his capture for the west coast murders, there was speculation that it was Bianchi who was responsible. no hard evidence exists to be sure, but if he did these murders, it was at the time he lived with my neighbor, and it would've been her car he used to do them. he even mentioned her by name in one of my aunt's letters.

So was the Gein documentary worth it?

I found it to be well worth it. I hadn't known that he had rehapolstered(sp?) his furniture with the skin of his victims. I knew about the flesh lamp shades and skull bowls but not the furniture thing. I also didn't know about the female genitals blinds pull he made or the nipple necklace. Either way it was very interesting and they interviewed alot of Plainsfield residents and some of the people whom had to put up with him in the State's facility for the criminally insane.

A+E will release it on DVD eventully

Much of what you'll hear about him isn't true. There is much hype surrounding the case, to the point where wild rumors and speculation are passed as fact by otherwise reputable sources, much like the short circuited electric chair I discussed here originally.

Piss and I are sure that the next serial killer will be either Zack Malibu or Bob Barron.
