Papacita Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 I haven't really paid attention to Heat in the longest. Has Stevie actually done anything with this GM role? Like try and make matches and what not?
AndrewTS Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 ...and now trying to be a really shitty HBK.
JustJoe2k5 Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 Why does WWE always feel the need to give local independent talent shitty names. Ace Steel-Chris Guy Tony Mamaluke-C.G. Afi Next thing you know they'll have Low Ki going under his old XWF name, Kwik Kick.

Like try and make matches and what not? Nope. I think that was the original plan for the gimmick, but rumors are that Steph put the kibosh on it. As for Heat: --both Hardy and Storm got very nice face pops --the Cade/Jindrak vs. Helms/Rosey was a decent match
Scroby Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 Stevie Night Heat was pretty damn entertaining to watch when the gimmick started going. I remember tuning in one time and I saw Victoria making "angel snow" with paper shreads while Stevie cut a promo. Then one day Steph turned on Heat and most likely found it funny and put a X to it. Then WWE decided to bring it back......they let Stevie wear the trunks again.

Then WWE decided to bring it back......they let Stevie wear the trunks again. I F'N loved that vignette. IIRC, Stevie was in the back after his match with Goldberg on Raw clutching his ribs. He then fires the janitor cleaning up the mess in the locker room complete with the Vince-esque "You're FIRED!" Then, Al Snow appears out of nowhere so Stevie shoves a microphone in his hand and tells him since Snow wants to interview Richards so bad (with Snow sporting a bored look on his face) he can have a "Stevie Night Exclusive." Richards rants on about how if Goldberg met Richards on Heat, GB would go down. All the while, Victoria is in the background making snow angels. I don't know if this was a gag on Al or not. As Richards is trying to keep a straight face, Victoria is screaming "Look Stevie . . . Snow! Snow!!" Like a father trying to calm down his kid, Richards looks back and mutters, "Snow . . . great." I wish I would have taped that segment.
