Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 1, 2004 WM Match Order How do you think they will place the WM Card? Here's the Card WWE Title Match Kurt Angle Vs Eddy Guerrero© Triple Threat Match HBK Vs Triple H Vs Chris Benoit Brock Lesnar Vs Bill Goldberg w/Special Guest Ref. Steve Austin Kane Vs Undertaker Playboy Evening Gown Match Torrie and Sable Vs Jackie and Stacy U.S Title Match John Cena Vs The Big Show © Cruiserweight Open *****These aren't confirmed***** Mick Foley and The Rock Vs Orton, Flair and Batistia Chris Jericho Vs Christian WWE Tag Team Title Match Basham Bros Vs APA Vs Too Cool © Vs WGTT World Tag Team Title Match Le Resistance Vs Booker and RVD © Vs Dudley Boyz Vs Green Team (Jyndrak/Cade) Woman's Title Match Hair Vs Title Victoria © Vs Molly Here's my predicted order 1. CW Open 2. World Tag Team Title Match 3. Woman's Title Match 4. Jericho Vs Christian 5. WWE Tag Team Title Match (I wouldn't count out this one getting HEAT detail) 6. U.S Title Match ****Half Time*** 7. Mick Foley and The Rock Vs Batistia and Orton 8. Evening Gown Match 9. Kane Vs Undertaker 10. Kurt Angle Vs Eddy Guerrero 11. Bill Goldberg Vs Brock Lesnar 12. Triple Threat Match Hopefully, Matt Hardy and Hurricane sneak into the Open since it's an OPEN invitational and preview makes it sound like there could be a SURPRISE (refuses to believe the Jeff Hardy return rumors)... I hate the fact we could have a meaningless match AGAIN for RVD...at least he should get in the PPV...maybe.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted March 1, 2004 WWE is notorious for starting with a tag team match. That being said, they like to curtain jerk with as many people as possible as well. So, I guess if they make a 3-team Smackdown tag match my order will change. Booker T. & Rob Van Dam Vs. Probably either La Resistance or the Dudleyz Cruiserweight botch fest Jericho Vs. X-Tian Some Women Slop Cena Vs. Show More women slop Foley/Orton Extravaganza 3-Way Raw Title Match Kane Vs. UT Angle Vs. Eddie Brock Vs. Goldberg w/ Austin
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2004 I'm torn between which will end the show. The WWE title match or the 3-way. Because they've been promoting both as "THE MAIN EVENT".

That being said, they like to curtain jerk with as many people as possible as well true...8 of the 19 manias started with a Tag Match or a Battle Royal of some sort... Which is why the OPEN will kick off the show...
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 1, 2004 I'm torn between which will end the show. The WWE title match or the 3-way. Because they've been promoting both as "THE MAIN EVENT". yet on the WM.COM site and tv ads... It's been all about Brock/Berg. at least they are treating three matches ALL like main events...unlike last year's VINCEAMANIA.
NYU 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2004 I don't care how big the hype is for Goldberg/Brock. It's Goldberg's last night in WWE, and I doubt they'll want someone who isn't even loyal to the company to close out the biggest WWE show of all time. With that said.... 1. RAW Tag Team Titles 2. Jericho vs. Christian 3. Evening Gown Match 4. Cruiserweight Open 5. U.S. Title Match 6. Mick Foley/The Rock vs. Batista/Orton 7. Woman's Title Match 8. Goldberg/Lesnar 9. Angle/Guerrero 10. Kane/Taker 11. Triple Threat Match (I don't see a Smackdown Tag Title match making the card) I do believe there is a serious possibility they could close out the show with Kane/Taker. It would build up the anticipation for Taker's return at a fever-pitch (the fans know they're saving him for last, and the roof will just blow off of MSG), and it would honor 2 guys that have been loyal to the company for years. I wouldn't really LIKE to see them Main-Event WrestleMania XX, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if they did.

It's Goldberg's last night in WWE, and I doubt they'll want someone who isn't even loyal to the company to close out the biggest WWE show of all time. But having their biggest star of the 1990's (Austin) raising the hand of the future of the company (Brock) after a clean defeat of the other biggest star of the 1990's (Goldberg) is a nice way to close the biggest show of all time. Not like Austin will actually RAISE Brock's hand...it's stunner time.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2004 If it were up to me the show would go something like this: RVD and Booker T vs La Resistance Cruiserweight Open Chavo Guerrero vs Winner of CW Open A.P.A. vs WGTT vs Bashams vs 2 Cool John Cena vs Big Show Chris Jericho vs Christian Kane vs Undertaker Evening Gown Match Randy Orton and Batista vs The Rock and Mick Foley Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg HHH vs Chris Benoit vs Shawn Michaels Women's Title Match Eddie Guerrero vs Kurt Angle

res37618 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2004 I'm having a hard time deciding which match should be the ME for WMXX. I'm cool with either Angle/Guerrero or HBK/HHH/Benoit, so that either way someone who really deserves to be in the main event is there. I'd have to go with Angle/Guerrero though, simply because I'm against the main event being a triple-threat at what's supposed to be THE biggest PPV of all time . . . The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2004 I think the 3-Way will end the show... because the last match is the TRUE Main Event Match... and like EVERY SINGLE WM since the Rumble stip has been used... the winner has faced the champ in the final match of the show. Even last year...Brock/Angle was the true Main Event since Brock won the Rumble. EDIT: Booker/RVD open the show... I think it's a law of nature now.
SamoaRowe 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2004 I don't think the triple threat should end the show for a few reasons: 1) Triple H is in the match. 2) It is for the Raw title. I think the WWE Championship match should get the main event slot for two reasons: 1) Triple H is not in the match. 2) It's the WWE Championship, the belt that has been a part of Wrestlemania since the beginning. Wasn't at WrestleMania 12 either. Or Last Year...but it's obvious why it wasn't then.

Wasn't at WrestleMania 12 either. Or Last Year...but it's obvious why it wasn't then. I know, but it would have been nice for it to have some importance on the biggest show of the year, considering that it hasn't had any meaning since it was brought back. I mean, for now, it's just the Legend Killer Novelty Belt Special Edition. Geez, it's not even important enough to be the opener anymore, like it was at X-7 and X-8. The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2004 I've been trying to figure out the order for a while now... I give up. I think the cruiser open will be first, and the three way will be last. Everything in between...who knows? There was a women's match between Hogan/Rock and the Title match at 18.

Guest Brian Report post Posted March 3, 2004 Brock's solidified enough, and with a strong win over Goldberg, it should make very little difference. They should be going for the SmackDown match to finish. Not only is it one-on-one, but you have your stronger face and it is the real title.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 3, 2004 It still doesn't mean it should be the Opener... Middle of the Card like 6th...Ok that might be ideal.
