P. Diddy Says Next Album Will Be His Last

The former Puffy calling it quits...

P. Diddy says his next album will be his last.

"I don't want nobody to just go crazy or nothing. It's not going to be as dramatic or traumatic as Jay-Z retiring."

"I got a chance to have my dream come true, and I wanted to make sure I made the decision as to when I dropped my last album," he said. "If I don't feel like this album is an incredible piece of work, then I'm cool with the albums I've done. I don't have to put out another album."

Diddy's final album will be titled PDS.

Bad Boy Records will also celebrate its 10 year anniversary on Tuesday with the release of Bad Boy's 10th Anniversary: The Hits.

"We've learned so much over the last 10 years — through mistakes and successes, triumphs and tragedies," Diddy said. "It's just made us stronger, made us better. Making it through 10 years is a true blessing. We feel we've made a positive impact on youth culture, on hip-hop. We've kind of led by example. We showed people that if you dream and you believe, you can do it."

I was a mark for Bad Boy growing up so I bought the Ten Year disc. Ooh the memories.

Puff Daddy is one funny guy, I'm curious to see how this plays out.

It’s for the better anyways, He hasn’t been a factor in the music business in a while and has had some great success outside that market, it was only inevitable.

^ Naw, he still ripping off the Da Band and 112. I glad he's retiring because I was tired of him putting himself over his own artists. Its like one of his artists have a hot single out, he'll take that put on his P.diddy and family album.

You're a better business man than musician, so thank you for retiring.

112 isn't with Bad Boy anymore. They are busy selling no albums with (Def Jam?) now and continuing the "NO BODY SELLS SHIT ONCE YOU LEAVE BAD BOY" streak of Craig Mack, The Lox, That chick from Total, and Ma$e.

And DA BAND would be a bunch of dumbass ugly(well...not sarah) want to bes and should be happy to be getting any money, because those ingnorant fucks weren't going to do anything with thier lives anyway...except Sarah.

Puffy Has 2 albums in the last 10+ years...its not like he's been flooding the market anyway.

And Ant, don't act like those 2 P-Diddy and the Family albums were HOT.

Jada sold more than Diddy his first week. Each D Block album has sold a hell of a lot. LOX made it better. 112's problem was the first single was 6 months before the album. And then nothing to follow up. Atleast a second single will help them. But still a good album.

They went GOLD~! with that WE ARE THE STREETS album...more than it should've been.

Yeah, Jada sell pretty well, but they haven't sold as much as their getting Jiggy days(I don't believe) and honestly, short of a few tracks, the first album was the better one of their mainstream career.

And the 112 album is good, but the thing that people don't appreciate about Puffy is that he Pushes the ever loving SHIOT out of his artist when they had a album coming out. Every mix tape, ever music show, every radio station, they are there. Were their deals the best thing evah~! ...no. But the guy will make you a star. Now 112 is like Sparkle without R Kelly.

Actually, P.Diddy and Def Jam struck a deal that they would share 112's services, Puff still makes money off of them. I think Puff did produce some songs of 112's on new album. I agree with you as far as Da Band, they should be happy that they no talent (except Sarah) asses have a record deal. Yea, Puff has done 2 albums but he's put out alot of Bad Boy compilation albums, and fucked up Biggie's album. Craig Mack is still on roster but he sucked thou. Its funny how you mention the LOX and remember how they bitched and whined about getting off of Bad Boy because they didn't wanna do pop rap, but then they got off Bad Boy and failed reach platinum and now resorting to do pop songs with J-lo.

Well, in his defense there wasn't that much biggie material to work with so all of the post death biggie stuff was basically gone and he just tried to make a dime off what was left(and who could blame him).

And the Lox...I was such a fan of them when they were underground...I didn't really hate too much with the Jiggy shit because their first album had hot tracks like that Bitches from Eastwick, and Jada's and Styles solo song. then they started bitching and whining. I haven't given a shit since.

Its fucked up that the LOX own label mate DMX dissed them on "Trina Moe" how X mention 3 guys that bitch, but put out 3 albums and that went gold. :D Puff didn't push his artists (except Faith, 112) like you say Ripper especially after Big and Mase was gone, if thats the case then he didn't push ever loving shit out Carl Thomas and Black Rob when fans wanted to hear from them.

Black Rob kept going back to jail because he is a fucking retard and Carl Thomas...I can't tell ya. But when he finally did get the album out he was pushing him to the moon...then Carl Disappeared.

But noone can say he didn't push Dream, Total, Loon, G-Dep(for whatever reason) Black Rob(when he finally went 6 months without being arrested) and...well...I guess thats the whole camp. There were others that were signed, that would only show up on the compilation albums, but I think that is because they weren't good enough to fill out a album with quality material. Its easy to be hot on one or two tracks.

You forgot Shyne his album did solid numbers before he got locked up, With Shyne gone it was basically over for Bad Boy. He pushed Dream when the new jacks of Pop started emerging in 98-99 and I haven't seen or heard from Dream since they were on that Twix commercial with Bow Wow. Puff didn't push Loon until "I need a girl" came out and Loon was there the whole time, from the whole Harlem World group flop. Puff can make you a star, but sometimes he doesn't have a good eye/ear for talent, and fact that he failed to sign rappers that were either ghostwriting for him (Ludacris) or people that were guest appearing on Bad Boy albums or produce other artists songs on a regular basis. (Twista, Mary J. Blige, Lil Kim) I forgot Puff has 8ball and MJG on the roster and the South is hottest region, he's finally going to put their album out.

He needed some time before he came back out. He had to live that shit down.

Naw, that was Binky, Mase, and Mya. But Loon was with Harlem World and did the "I really like it" song. With them wearing stunt jumping outfits.

He had nothing to do with that song, but that was GOLD...

I'm still a big fan of Bad Boy seeing as I think they have a decent roster, but whatever the reason (Work ethnic, promotion, whatever) they can't get it done...

- Loon

- Mario Winans (His current single is CRAZY, Bad Boy better capitalize on it)

- Carl Thomas (2 years later, do the fans still want his music?)

- Da Band (I'm not going to lie, I like them... bought the album, but it seems like Diddy put more promotion into Making The Band: Season 3 than he did for their album, because I sure didn't see as much as I expected)

- Eightball & MJG (Still garbage, but the south is huge right now)

You know, my ex actually used to date him. She would swear that some song on his first album was about her.

P. Diddy says his next album will be his last.

"I don't want nobody to just go crazy or nothing. ..."

Dear P. Diddy,

Please don't worry. From the bottom of my miserable Swedish heart; I PROMISE not to go crazy.

Gee...
