Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2004 By Dave Scherer The latest on Edge is that it appears that Raw has won out and will get him as a top babyface when he returns to action after WrestleMania. The Smackdown brand had been fighting for him, but as of right now, it appears that Raw will end up with his talents. Edge, who is coming back from neck surgery and a foot injury, is scheduled to be back in action for WWE by April. With Brock Lesnar leaving after WrestleMania, and the loss of Edge, many on the Smackdown roster are starting to feel as if the company views them as the second class promotion in the company. They also point to the fact that their show, which was named for the Rock, has lost him to Raw as well.

Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2004 Okay. So you lose one of your top stars on Smackdown, but another is coming back. So logically, the best choice would be to put him on Raw. They're really asking for a miserable death, aren't they?
NYU 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2004 Well, at least WWE is preparing for the future. Putting Edge on a roster that doesn't need him considering they already have so many potential Main-Eventers....and taking him off a roster that just lost their top guy. Sometimes I think the intelligence of the WWE staff is terribly underrated. Here's to hoping that Van Dam winds up jumping to Smackdown.

First off, why are they competing over talent??? They are the same company....christ, they sound like they are trying to work themselves.........

Better roster with bigger stars = Better house show draws. = More money for talent. No wonder the workers are pissed.

EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2004 Damn Edge is one of my top 3 favorite wrestler and I was hoping he go to SD. Well get ready for Edge to job and job some more to HHH and then to Orton.
Guest Repo Man Reborn Report post Posted March 11, 2004 So rather than have Edge jump into the mix with Angle and Eddie, he will be jumping into the Booker T/RVD/Benoit role with Triple H? Nice. Welcome back Adam.
NYU 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2004 Come on. As if everybody here isn't creaming about the tantalizing possibility of Triple H and Edge engaging in a war of words. Back and forth they would go, until Edge unleashes a particularly vicious insult to Triple H, calling him a "stupid dork."

I remember getting excited when RVD made fun of HHH's whole water spitting routine. I thought it was the beginning a great feud. And we all know how that turned out. humongous2002 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2004 Well Edge goes to RAW, feuds with HHH for one or 2 ppvs and then he goes after the IC title against Orton, while RVD goes to SD and wins the WWE title before the year ends, this makes me a happy camper.
