LucharesuFan619 Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 WOW, I'm surprised nobody made a thread for it yet...The documentary-style film - which was shot at last year's WrestleMania - airs tonight on UPN at 8/7 Central Time. I'll definitely be taping this. WWE is saying that it "features a unique peek at the stories behind the scenes." Should be pretty cool.
iliketurtles Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 I'm not gunna bother taping since it's going to be on DVD, but I've been waiting to see this for a year.
Youth N Asia Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 There was a thread, didn't last long. I'll tape it. I still have Smackdown from yesterday to watch
The Ghost of bps21 Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 "The Mania of WrestleMania" is WrestleMania the movie? No wonder they changed the name. A movie isn't an hour long with commercial breaks.
Guest T®ITEC Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 I had forgotten all about this. WHOO~, it'll be fun.
SuperJerk Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 "The Mania of WrestleMania" is WrestleMania the movie? No wonder they changed the name. A movie isn't an hour long with commercial breaks. Excellent point.
ChrisMWaters Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 I kinda like how this is playing out. Though, I would have waited till this year's mania for it.
tpww7 Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 Ouch..that line hurts. Rock...was never Steve Austin.
ChrisMWaters Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 Hmm...I have to wonder... If the "Owen Driver" never occured, would Austin still be wrestling now?
ChrisMWaters Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 Wait. Why is Jesse doing the voiceover? Who cares? It's cool!
Downhome Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 Wait. Why is Jesse doing the voiceover? Who cares? It's cool! Well yeah, but I thought he was at odds with WWE. Is this only an hour long?
Guest Krazy Karter Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 Damn - I hadn't heard about that before
Guest Krazy Karter Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 Wait. Why is Jesse doing the voiceover? Who cares? It's cool! Well yeah, but I thought he was at odds with WWE. Yeah, but this was originally going to be a theatrical release. They probably paid him well.
Detective Comics Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 This is awesome...I wish they would do it every year. If they released this into theaters, I bet it would make a shitload... it is an awesome documentary thus far.
tpww7 Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 Hogan and HBK..never seen them in the same room.
Guest Krazy Karter Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 Hogan, lol That's probably why it's only one hour - they cut out his stuff
Nevermortal Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 "God put me on the earth to be a pro-wrestler." Times they are-a changin'.
Downhome Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 It's very odd that both of the guys who main evented the big show last year, might now be around after this years big show.
Guest Krazy Karter Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 I guess the employees were treated to a lifetime supply of XFL jerseys, eh?
Downhome Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 Ha, that shardsoglass.com is actually a website.
