I thought it was a good show, 3 very good matches and nothing really really bad work rate wise.

I yelled holy shit on C's Implant DDT on Jericho, i thought that move was badass

Benoits win got a big pop from me also, great match

Cena vs. Show: eh, Cena was pretty bleh, TBS was pretty good...just a nice face pop win to start the show, but kinda boring

Raw 4 way tag - BOOOOOORING

WTF is the WWE and short tag matches. Common sense would say that tag match would be double the length of a singles match, since there are double the participants. I'm not saying they should be the longer than the main events necessarilly, but atleast give them more time than a Velocity ME!

Christian vs. Jericho - fun match. I loved the bumps they took out of the ring. Granted, they weren't big, but they were done well and looked pretty gruesome. The DDT Jericho took made me cringe. Fuckin'-A it was great. Trish turning heel was expected, but still very cool. One of the best matches ***

Evolution vs Rock 'n Sock - Crap match in the technical sense, but it was still awesome to watch with Flair and Rocks antics. Side note: Rock is really thin now.

Playboy Evnining Gown match: Never ever let those girls try to wrestle again. They should be showing their tits or their ass and that is ALL they should be doing.

Cruiserweight Open: too disgusted by this to comment. Total Shit.

Goldberg vs Lesnar - boring, crap match with a crap finish. They got all the boo's they deserved.

----Wow, I hate this ppv more than I thought, this show really did suck.----

Smackdown title crap? Who cares? I certainly didn't care to watch it.

Victoria vs. Molly: as usual, this was another crap match, but Molly going bald was gross, yet ridiculously funny.

Eddie vs. Kurt: Too bad they couldn't go longer because it was a greatt fuckin' match. That ending alone made my night. Kudos' to Kurt and Eddie for pulling that off so well. ***1/2

Undertaker shit: If I ever have the chance to meet Mark Calloway, I'm goign to kick him in the face. God that sucked.

Main event: Lots of people are giving it high marks, but the fact is, the match wasn't that good. None of them made any initative to include the 3rd man in any sequence, there was more pointless bleeding then I've ever seen in my life, and not a single noteworthy thing happenned in the whole match except the ending. It was a solid match, but not a GREAT match. Benoit won and HHH sold the ending really well (even if it took him 20 minutes to finally tap once the crossface was on), keeping up his "to be the man, you gotta beat the man" mentality. Benoit's rollover thing was awesome as well. ***

Overall: Pretty meh show.

Some good points, some bad points, some frustratingly awful points.

John Cena vs. Big Show: Simple, fun match which served its purpose. It was certainly watchable, but not good. **

RAW Tag Titles: Much like the first one, although the ending to this was way too abrupt and it didn't tell much of a story. They really could have done a lot more, but it wasn't actively bad. *3/4

Christian vs. Chris Jericho: I liked the match, and I liked the ending which honestly I didn't see coming largely because I wasn't paying much attention to the lame feud. However, the botch spots annoyed me so I will deduct it for that. The potential is definitely there if they decide to continure this feud though. **3/4

Evolution vs. Rock & Sock Connection: It was certainly entertaining aside from the end, and it was clearly Rock & Flair that made this match. The heat segment with Foley also went on too long. Foley did okay, but Orton & Batista were clearly over their heads. **1/2

Playboy Match: We've seen two of them nude, and the other two didn't show off anything we haven't seen on RAW. What is the point of this again? I won't rate it, because I used it as an excuse for a bathroom break and didn't see all of it.

Cruiserweight Open: I found it entertaining, but as a match it was a complete mess. 1/4* for the Shooting Star. 1/4* for Chavo winning. 1/2*

Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar: WMOTN. Stalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll... and then their usual stuff at the end. It was something like 13 minutes but seemed like 30. This was bad by Goldberg's standards, let alone Brock's. -*** and they deserve it.

Smackdown Tag Match: A couple of good spots from WGTT, but that's it. The wrong team went over too. The RAW match was much better. One star, but jobbing WGTT forces me to lower it. 3/4*

Molly Holly vs. Victoria: Just an excuse for the head shaving. I expected so much more, but they weren't given time. 1/2*

Eddy Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle: The match I paid to see. They slightly let me down, but it was still far and away better than everybody else. Not as good as Eddy/Brock, but still a great match with a great finish. ****

Undertaker vs. Kane: Usual Taker match. 1/2*

Triple Threat: This match completely had me on the edge of my seat, and make no mistake this was Benoit's match from start to finish. Anything that he was involved in hear was great. HHH did his part well too. Shawn was the weak point in the match as he was his usual noselling self (bumping does not equal selling) and really didn't belong in the match in the first place, especially since he wasn't involved in the fall. It was a good decision not to though, and the final confrontations between Benoit & HHH completely made the show. Best Triple Threat match ever, and probably my new #1 markout moment replacing the Horsemen reunion on Nitro in Sept 1998. ****1/2

OVERALL: Pretty much a repeat of Wrestlemanias VIII & X. Two big matches save the show.

I was quite disappointed by the decidedly un-MSG set. To say nothing of the fact that it doesn't allow the maximum capacity WM20 deserves...

-When Kane's entrance had the Manhattan skyline in flames...no.

-Any wrestlers who made it look like a disco with the Floortron.

-Rey and Dragon almost looking stupid on their entrances.

-The eyes of the Big Show watching over us all in lieu of where the entrance ought to be.

Yeah just stick with the classic setup in New York, guys.

Aw come on, that was cool symbolism.

Sure, a few years ago it would have been REALLY bad, but still...

I was hoping The Rock was going to Rock Bottom Foley right after the match ended.

I'll say this...had HHH retained the title in the Main Event, this show would not be getting as much praise as it is. The Benoit title win (and yes I loved it too) saved this show's ass BIG time. People would be pissed and demanding refunds on here if HHH was still the champ.

I actually found the show to be dull and rushed at the same time if that makes any sense. Not even close to "One of the best Wrestlemanias ever" as some have said, Wrestlemania 3 & Wrestlemania 17 are still the "Best" this one....I'm not sure is even in my top ten, although it was better than Wrestlemania 15 & 16.

I will say it was great seeing Bobby Heenan, Greg Valentine, Don Muraco, Harley Race & Tito Santana again. Big props to WWE for the tip of the hat to some of the legends.

It was overall a very entertaining show, and didn't provide anything that i didn't enhoy in some way, shape or form. Really enjoyed the Jericho v Christian match and hope they stay on the same roster so we can see more interactions between these two and Trish. Eddie vs Angle didn't dissapoint and the triple threat pleased me greatly, not just beacause of the result, as this last month I really haven't cared because i was sure he wasn't going over, was also a good match.

Not exactly a work rate fans dream, but it provided a decent amount of work rate along with a big helping of sports entertainment.

I think this show was missing a crazy out of control hardcore brawl. Something to show another style. I'd definitely put it behind WM 17 since that show had a wild TLC match and a silly hardcore match as well.

This post didn't go through last time - damn slow-ass school computers.

Indeed, WWF WrestleMania X-7 was one of the best that the company have ever produced.

If Triple H had retained his World Heavyweight Championship, carry-on feud with Chris Benoit or not, it would have put a definite dampener on the show, what with the heat from the fans in The Garden and all.

A Shawn Michaels victory would also have been subjected to much heat - did you hear it when he was tuning up the band?

I didn't see it coming, but I'm so fucking happy - Chris Benoit (and Eddie Guerrero) definitely saved the show.
