NCAA Men's BBall Tourney DAY ONE!

Recommended Posts

Why did Florida get such a high seed again? I like Manhattan, and I think they are a good team, but they seem to be having little trouble with Florida. Kind of sad that the 12th seed is beating the 5th seed like that.

Anyone know anything about: Liberty? Richmond? Pacific? How good is that Valpo team as compared to previous years where they were a big spoiler? How the hell did Seton Hall get in? Anyone pick Princeton over Texas?

Liberty: Decent and could pull the upset if the get exceptional play out of their guards. But their guards are still no match for St. Joes

Richmond: Underrated as Underrated can be. Watch for the upset there. I picked them because I'm not impressed with Wisconsin. Plus Mike Skrocki is one of the most underappreciate guards around.

Pacific: They have size with 6-10 Maraker inside but I can't see them over the Priars.

Valpo is strong and could upset the Zags but they aren't as strong as they have been in the past. Don't bet on the upset but that doesn't mean it's impossible. IUPUI was the better team in the conference.

They won the ACC, they did deserve this seed.

The problem is if UTEP hadn't lost their conference title game they are easily a 10 seed.

And I love the chance of upset but I still don't see anyone stepping up for the Miners just yet. I hope someone does though.

Please please please get Maryland out. UTEP is a HUGE underdog...last non-conference winning tea to get a bid.....foul trouble...ugly uniforms...they deserve a come from behind win.

Could go up with a basket here.

Man, I hope Gilchrist doesn't leave college at the conclusion of the tourny. He could lead MD to a championship in the next couple of years with a team full of talent and youth.
