Let's face the fact they didn't beat an RPI Top 50 team all year. After today they will finish the year 0-3 against the RPI Top 50. Them complaining about being disrespected officially goes out the door now as they got a high seed, playing in a friendly enviroment, and got smacked around by a #10 seed. Sure htye shoot a few too many 3's, which is arguably bad for the game, but everybody is always moving with and without the ball, they pass well, and when they do it well, you get what I just saw: Jameer Nelson drives to the basket, dishes it off to West at the top of the key, who fakes one way and immdeiatly there after tosses it to Carroll, who has no one near him in the corner (no one on his side of the coach to be exact, that's what happens when you draw people on you and pass), and is in perfect position to shoot. Picture perfect basketball, folks, picture perfect. I didn't mind Stanford or St. Joe's getting in as number one too much. Every year, a number one will usually get bounced from the tournament before the Final Four. Heck, last year's tournament had two number three seeds in the Final Four, both of whom defeated the number one seed by more than 10 points. Picking number one is a crapshoot. As long as deserving teams are seeded somewhere between 1 and 3, I am happy. Heck, if anything, I was more pissed that they wasted a 5th spot on Florida. Re: Gonzaga...*sigh* As a mid major fan, this hasn't been a good year. I was hoping Gonzaga would at least make a respectable showing, but they got bounced in the second round.
