Scroby Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 Last weekend I was at Suncoast and found the first ROH DVD and I bought it and watched it and now I'm hooked and want the second one. Is the second one out yet or no?
Guest realsandman420 Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 wow, their at suncoast now???? didn't know that. the dvd's are pretty good. i have like the first 10 dvd's. i wish i had the extra cash to get the rest.
Guest dwdw_IGN Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 The Round Robin Challenge is supposed to be realesed on March 30th. I already ordered it off of Amazon since I loved ROH's 1st DVD. Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...?v=glance&s=dvd
Scroby Posted March 20, 2004 Author Report Posted March 20, 2004 Sweet, thanks DWDW_IGN, I just needed the date so I can search the bin at Suncoast like a maniac. There not all out Realsandman, ROH only released 2 (somewhat) nationwide. I got lucky finding the first one, I was checking out the Dusty Rhodes dvd and lord behold there it was staring me in the face. I picked it up but had to pay 10.00 dollars due to Suncoast liking to rip people off. They should be 8.99.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 Does anyone know why stuff was cut out of Era Of Honor Begins? I compared the card to Dames' review of the show and there was at least one match cut.
JoeDirt Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 Does anyone know why stuff was cut out of Era Of Honor Begins? I compared the card to Dames' review of the show and there was at least one match cut. They just wanted to cut out some of the crap and put out a bit shorter version for a lower price. Get the full stuff at rfvideo.com - trust me, the shows are worth it.
JustJoe2k5 Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 I believe they left out Prince Nana's match and the brawl between Natural Born Sinners and Boogie Knights. I don't understand why they would leave Da Hit Squad vs. Christopher St. Connection crap in there and take out the entertaining Sinners' match as it has one of their biggest stars currently, Homicide, in his first match for the promotion. If you thought Era of Honor Begins was good, you'll be blown away by Round Robin Challenge. Christopher Daniels vs. Low Ki, Bryan Danielson vs. Low Ki, and Bryan Danielson vs. Christopher Daniels are all amazing.
Jingus Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 Anyone else kinda pissed at the packaging for the DVD case? It doesn't tell you jack shit about what's actually on the DVD. No match listings, no dates, nothing but generic ROH shilling. I'm glad I didn't buy the damn thing now, since I've already got the first show on tape.
Scroby Posted March 30, 2004 Author Report Posted March 30, 2004 Yeah I'll agree the packaging was a bit lacking but that didn't bother me any. I never saw ROH so I couldn't have cared less what matches were on there. As long as they don't end up putting the same matches on the dvd's over and over again and keeping that a secret then I'm ok.
DMann2003 Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 I picked up Era of Honor Begins at Best Buy tonight, got 5 bucks off with my reward zone coupon, I look forward to the second disc.
