The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 So...just so I'm clear... People come here and bitch when Meltzer says they consider a drop of .2 bad... But they have a press release when they go up .5?
Guest Deebo Report post Posted March 24, 2004 I'm sure they pissed that rating away by having such a shitty draft anyway.
Guest Adrian 3:16 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view), they'll see this as a sign to end the Brand Extension. Good. Its no mystery why the show would do better in the ratings- it was the first time a lot of Raw and Smackdown guys were on a same show together since... the last draft, and the first time a lot of these guys were seen together period. Too bad the big brawl at the end looked like a game of Double Dare gone horribly wrong...
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 Congrats, WWE. Enjoy it for the two whole weeks (give or take) that it lasts.

Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted March 24, 2004 So I'm guessing they drop to a 3.5-3.8 next week after the WWF totally fails to deliver what they promised.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 So I'm guessing they drop to a 3.5-3.8 next week after the WWF totally fails to deliver what they promised. Cosidering that Albert, Palumbo, HHH are on the show yeah, its back to the 3.6 rating.

Guest Goodear Report post Posted March 24, 2004 People come here and bitch when Meltzer says they consider a drop of .2 bad... I personally bitch when Meltzer makes his weekly 'RAW scored a 3.7 rating this week, which has to be a dissapointment' newsbit because he's done it so much that its become a cliche' and the numbers he claims to be a dissapointment are essentially average considering the WWE landscape. But they have a press release when they go up .5? Well, I don't work for WWE so I don't make press releases. But if this is the highest rating in two years or something, sure why not? Its not like WWE puts out press releases about their ratings every time they rise a tiny bit like Dave does every time they move a tiny amount so their announcement has a bit more heft behind it. If they do it every week, it would get just as pointless and boring.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted March 24, 2004 as someone who only watched for the draft, let me assure you that I regretted it after about 20 minutes and I won't make the same mistake any time soon. and what's all this with HHH getting traded back to Raw? WTF was the point of all this draft crap then?
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 Well, 2 weeks from now when it's back at 3.8 they won't have anything to celebrate about. They lost good names and picked up very little on top of that

haVoc 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 and what's all this with HHH getting traded back to Raw? WTF was the point of all this draft crap then? To get people talking. Triple H is a big name and him jumping shows for one week has people interested. Plus, Smackdown got a few extra big names out of the deal.
