Hence why Rodney Mack, Christopher Nowinski, Gail Kim, and Mark Henry all made the list.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2004 This roster is a perfect example why they need a third brand. If you are going to pay all these guys, you should at least be using them. Split the RAW and SMACKDOWN roster in half or at least a quarter and take those wrestlers and make a new smaller brand for the Velocity/Heat shows. It'll get those unused more exposure and perhaps allow them to build major characters to later re-invent the wrestling crazy.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 28, 2004 its nowhere NEAR as bad as WCW in 1999. They had over 100 WRESTLERS on the roster...about 25 on air personalities and 7 announcers...and yet Kevin Nash still got 50 minutes of Air-Time a week or if He was too drunk...Jeff Jarrett. But what about for the non-wrestlers...like the managers, valets, announcers and such.

Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted March 29, 2004 Actually, gay jokes aside (deservedly made, though - what the hell were he and Randy trying to do?), Steiner got a groin injury shortly after the Rumble. Come to think of it, that doesn't make it any better......

Come to think of it, that doesn't make it any better...... I think Steiner was TRYING to do some "amature" wrestling on Orton...but it didn't work out as well as expected. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2004 I object to the misnomer of "talent" referring to Gayda or Torrie. Everything looks in order, but I don't think Foley and Rock are really Raw guys. Rock was until he left on his semi-retirement/movie career, and Foley just happened to come back on Raw. However, I don't think they're really supposed to be part of the official roster. Damn, there are number of 'em I haven't seen in a long time. Test, Ivory, Steiner, etc. Of course, Mack, Henry, Nowinski and so on are still out injured. I think Steiner was TRYING to do some "amature" wrestling on Orton...but it didn't work out as well as expected. It's "amateur." "Amature" makes it sound a bit more like what Mulatto Heat was hinting at.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2004 I object to the misnomer of "talent" referring to Gayda or Torrie. Hey, had to refer to them as SOMETHING. Note that I also put Stephanie in that catagory. Everything looks in order, but I don't think Foley and Rock are really Raw guys. Rock was until he left on his semi-retirement/movie career, and Foley just happened to come back on Raw. However, I don't think they're really supposed to be part of the official roster. Until they officially retire and are gone, they're Raw wrestlers. That's they're role when they're on, hence that's why they're there. PLUS: McMahon mentioned that Foley was eligable for drafting when he announced the draft-lottery the post-Mania Raw. Damn, there are number of 'em I haven't seen in a long time. Test, Ivory, Steiner, etc. Of course, Mack, Henry, Nowinski and so on are still out injured. Yeah...fun thing: Notice that most of the MIA or injured stars are all on Raw... A jinx, perhaps? AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2004 Hey, had to refer to them as SOMETHING. Note that I also put Stephanie in that catagory. "Performer" works. Plus it's a synonym for "prostitute," which works well in a lot of those cases. Yeah...fun thing: Notice that most of the MIA or injured stars are all on Raw... A jinx, perhaps? Since Evolution have remained injury-free, I think Papa Shango or some one is redirecting the curse onto other members of the roster. You know, kinda like in "Thinner?" Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted March 29, 2004 Where's the OVW roster, considering WWE pays them too.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2004 Where's the OVW roster, considering WWE pays them too. Like I said, they're under the catagory of developmental talent. They are not considered, by this list's standards, WWE talent until one of them becomes a regular either on Raw/Heat or Smackdown/Velocity. Example: The Prototype wasn't a WWE talent. John Cena as he is now is.

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted March 29, 2004 Yes, Scott Steiner is injured. I doubt that he would be in Japan right now if he is.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 29, 2004 I sincerly hope he just walks over to Smackdown...Seriously...Steiner was one of the BEST heels ever...Let him cut loose on the stick again. Eddy Guerrero Vs Scott Steiner BATTLE OF THE CLOSE CAPTION WRITERS WORST NIGHTMARES~! And then Ahmed Johnson and Warrior interfere for an fatal four way match. King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2004 Just mentioning that as far as I know, Shaniqua isn't 'MIA', she's down in OVW training to become a better full-time female wrestler.

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted March 29, 2004 No, they've sent Linda Miles to OVW. Scott Steiner is a great heel, but he sucks as a wrestler.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 29, 2004 You do know that steiner has more ****+ matches then 96% of the roster right? You need to add...Now. I wish people saw Steiner when he made Kurt look like Randy Orton in the ring.
