6) Undertaker def. Booker T with the Tombstone in a total squash in less than a minute.

7) Rob Van Dam def. Charlie Haas with the 5 Star Frog Splash.

8) Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty def. Basham Bros and Akio/Sakoda in a Triple Threat Elimination match to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles.

9) John Cena def. Renee Dupree with F5 to retain the WWE United States Title.

10) Eddie Guerrero def. Big Show by using the title belt when the referee was down to retain the WWE Title.

===============

Pretty standard stuff here, but Booker keeps getting squashed in a minute to Taker? What's up with that? And are the Dudleyz going heel, perhaps?

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking

Not that bad of a show.

Regarding Bradshaw, it's fine at a House Show - either it's laziness or his apparel is being made.

It's great to see the OVW guys there, and John Cena used the F-5, huh?

1) Dudley Boyz def. Billy Kidman, Paul London and Orlando Jordan in a Six Man Tag Match when the Dudleys hit 3D on London.

Of course, the most talented man in the match gets pinned. Could care less. Shitty match, I'm sure. 0/1

2) OVW Tag Challenge: Johnny Jeter and Sean O'Haire def. Nick Dinsmore and Inspector Impact.

Good God. O'Haire? Inspector Impact? Nice load of heatless crap there. 0/2

3) Chavo Guerrero def. Nunzio and Rey Misterio in a Triple Threat Elimination Match to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Title.

Probably decent, although house show predictable regarding elimination order. 1/3

4) Mark Jindrak def. Billy Gunn with his feet on the ropes.

The match we paid to see. 1/4

5) John Bradshaw Layfield def. Shannon Moore with the Clothesline From Hell. Interesting note that he is still using the APA theme and wearing APA tights.

I'm guessing Bradshaw did NO mic work...had NO new theme & NO new tights? So they disrespect the paying customers by assuming they don't deserve a gimmick's full attention, AND you get a shitty squash! Try 1/5

6) Undertaker def. Booker T with the Tombstone in a total squash in less than a minute.

Isn't that lovely. Squash! 1/6

7) Rob Van Dam def. Charlie Haas with the 5 Star Frog Splash.

Eh...probably longer than the Smackdown! match...but honestly, what's the point? Haas' singles work needs skill, he's not seen as a credible mid-card singles guy yet (but will, hopefully). RVD is RVD...missed the boat with this guy years ago. 1/7

8) Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty def. Basham Bros and Akio/Sakoda in a Triple Threat Elimination match to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles.

Tajiri's henchmen were heatless and useless WITH Tajiri still ON the show. Sakoda's awful, too. The Bashams work well, usually only with quick, bump-taking face teams, however. Rikishi & Scotty blow. Who fucking paid for this show? 1/8

9) John Cena def. Renee Dupree with F5 to retain the WWE United States Title.

Well, Cena was gaining steam as a heel. Because he was carried by Angle and Taker. Then he turned face. His raps are now worse than his funny mid-2003 ones and his wretchid late-2003 ones. His workrate dissapears every show, and his injuries aren't helping either, however much they're worked or not. Dupree has potential...but I think it's a bit too soon to bill him as the "U.S. Title #1 Challenger". Crowd was probably very hot tho...call this a DRAW. 1.5/9

10) Eddie Guerrero def. Big Show by using the title belt when the referee was down to retain the WWE Title.

Guerrero rules all, and Show/Guerrero has proven to be entertaining and effective. I'd like to see it one more time. Probably was decent, and helps cement Eddie with the fans.

2.5/10

YEAH, sounds like a "great" show. My dear, the Smackdown! brand sucks.

The scary thing is of all the guys in "top" positions, how many can be counted on to work a really great match?

Eddie for sure...Booker...RVD...I'd say Rey and Chavo, but they're cruisers...

And then we have Taker, Bradshaw, Big Show, Cena, Rene Dupre, Rikishi and Scotty, Bob Holly...

The SD writing crew is going to have to come up with some kick ass stories to cover the lack of wrestling talent, I can tell you that much.

Well they're obviously not on his level...but they're easily a step above the next tier...

OMG, SOH is still around!

4) Mark Jindrak def. Billy Gunn with his feet on the ropes.

 That's beauitful

5) John Bradshaw Layfield def. Shannon Moore with the Clothesline From Hell. Interesting note that he is still using the APA theme and wearing APA tights.

WTF? I thought he was using the "Dallas" theme now.

10) Eddie Guerrero def. Big Show by using the title belt when the referee was down to retain the WWE Title.

Big Show > Bradshaw

This was part of their JR vs. Johny Ace story. The blowoff actually.

How can you grade it when you didn't see it?

I'm not "grading" it. Do you see letters? I based my fractions on whether I, and frankly any intelligent person with money, would pay to see such a show.

And it looks like it sucked, like most of Smackdown in 2004.

- WWE has been very pleased with how the Booker T vs. The Undertaker matches have come off on recent house shows. They feel that the matches have made both men look good.

What a great treat for WWE fans.

Well all four are under developmental contract. If they worked an OVW style match it probably would have been pretty good.

Not much at all warrants House Show matches between the two, but if a feud comes of it, you know who's getting the upper-hand, because if he doesn't, then he's "buried", so to speak.
