Guest Deebo Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 April Fools Joke.... ....Right? Please tell me it is.
Use Your Illusion Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 I love Batman. I hate that vehicle. UYI
Guest wrestlingbs Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 You know it doesn't get good miles-to-the-gallon. It fits with what the movie is trying to do.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 In the movie, the Batmobile is Wayne Enterprises' prototype Tumbler Tank, so to everyone saying "It looks like a tank"...well, you were onto something. I like it. I would have hated to have a Batmobile in the same vein as the other four movies, just because this one has to be the way it is. wait a minute....it's a Wayne Enterprise prototype? Wouldn't that mean people at Wayne Enterprises who have seen the prototype would then KNOW someone within the company was Batman?? Now, I'm intrigued In the comics, nobody believes Batman even exists till around the time he joins the JLA. He's considered by most to merely be an "urban legend." I can see how that's possible, getting around in this inconspicuous little number... No one gets a picture of it though. Especially with it being "jet powered" and all.
Ravenbomb Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 What, should it have Bat-wing fins or something? I like it
Boner Kawanger Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 Alright, they've been filming for about a month and release these, so how long until we see Bale in costume? I'm looking forward to seeing him pumped up, since the first time he tried it on, he supposedly ripped the damn costume with his new muscles.
DangerousDamon Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 I like the Batmobile it reminds me of the GTO in the new Punisher movie. One thing that boggles my mind is how the hell Batman is going to get in and out of that thing.
Tony149 Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Alright, they've been filming for about a month and release these, so how long until we see Bale in costume? I'm looking forward to seeing him pumped up, since the first time he tried it on, he supposedly ripped the damn costume with his new muscles. Reports say WB will release a pic sometime in the summer. As for the Batmobile, I think it's fine for what Nolan is aiming for.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 The pictures aren't good enough to see possible entry points. It's probably some sort of cockpit that opens from the top. I've heard Bale is around 230 for this movie. He was like 190 in American Psycho, so I'm sure he's ripped. He has gained something like 70 pounds for the part since he was so skinny for his work in the Machinest(he was anorexic level for the role).
