ROH DVD from TakedownMasters

Recommended Posts

I've seen this at Best Buy for 9.99 it's released by Takedown Masters. It doesn't mention a running time so I'm hesitant to buy. Does anyone have it, is it just a bunch of clips or is it full matches?

I bought it... it's the first ROH show run in it's entirity (or so it would seem from watching it)

the entrances are clipped up (if you've seen the online version of the ME 3-way ...it's just like that) ...

The video quality is typical of RFvideo. Kinda shoddy.

I was going looking for more of them the next time I went to FYE, just to see if they had any more.

The first year of shows have that crappy video production quality. It all changed when the majority of ROH was sold to Silken and he updated all of the lighting and production quality.

They also had 4 volumes of Takedown Masters, old Florida wrestling, 9.99- Not sure if I'd want them, but they look kinda interesting.

It's ALMOST the whole show.

Prince Nana Vs. "Towel Boy" Eric Tuttle is cut, but that's a horrible squash, so you're not missing anything.

Natural Born Sinners Vs. Boogie Knights is cut as well, because its a short comedy match, where the Sinners get DQ'd for using a rubber chicken. The match itself is crap, but since the ref is HC Loc, this match starts the Carnage Crew angle. So it's a bit odd they cut that.

The cuts are the two worst matches, and what is left are a bunch of amazing matches. Completely and totally worth $9.99.

Cool, I'll pick it up tomorrow

Plus I have a 5 dollar reward zone certificate, so I'll get it for 4.99

Eddie looks sad as hell. Seriously, take a look when you watch it. He looks like he's gonna hang himself in the back after his match.

Was this when Eddy was still on drugs or was this after he had cleaned up?

It had to be after he cleaned up, because he got re-signed by WWE a month later, and was the IC champ when he showed up for ROH's third show ("Night of Appreciation")
