A truely rare classic. It's the earliest Bret singles match (that I've seen) that shows how great he was and would become.

 

w/Jim Neidhart vs. Demolition - Summerslam 1990

Need a Hart Foundation tag, and I'd take this one because they win the tag titles here (and their first tag title win wasn't too good).

 

vs. Mr. Perfect - Summerslam 1991

Bret wins his first major singles title.

 

vs. Roddy Piper - Wrestlemania 8

A classic carry job by Bret, and he wins his second IC title.

 

vs. Ric Flair - 10/12/92

Bret wins his first WWF title.

 

vs. Owen Hart - Wrestlemania 10

Obviously, since it's one of Bret's top three matches.

 

vs. 123 Kid - 7/94 Raw

I haven't seen this in ages, but I recall loving it.

 

vs. Steve Austin - Survivor Series 1996

I'm sure most people would choose Wrestlemania 13, but I'd take this because (1) I think it's a better match. (2) This is rare compared to mania 13 (everyone and their mother has seen that, far fewer people have seen this), I want this on DVD so everyone else can see it. (3) It's important since it's Bret's return to WWF.

 

10 Man Tag - Canadian Stampede 1997

This really belongs on some DVD somewhere. The Hart Foundation angle in 97 was a big thing, and here's the peak of it.

 

vs. Chris Benoit - Nitro 10/4/99

You need at least one WCW match and this is the best you can probably find. Do they have the uncut no-commercials version? I hope so.

 

I left out matches such as vs. Davey Boy Smith - Summerslam 1992 (because it's on the Confidential DVD, I think?), vs. Shawn Michaels - Wrestlemania 12 (because I don't like it and it's on Shawn's DVD, so it would be a giant waste of space), vs. Steve Austin - Wrestlemania 13 (because I have another Austin match on this and WM13 would fit better on an Austin DVD set), or vs. Owen - Summerslam 1994 (because it's already on DVD...notice a trend here?)

There was a Bret vs Bulldog world title match from a In Your House PPV that I saw on a Coloseum Home Video that I thought was good. Bret vs 1-2-3 Kid from Raw is a must. Add maybe 3 tag team matches of Hart Foundation (Bret & Jim Neidhart). Add highlights of Bret winning the King of the Ring back-to-back with the best matches in full.

I'd replace the Jean Pierre match with Jerry Lawler at KOTR 95. Not only is it important since it was the blowoff (no I don't count the feud Isaac Yankeem), but what else than to see one of Lawler's greatest humilations get the DVD treatment.
