MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Midway is behind NBA Ballers and I think one of the people who worked on Jam worked on it as well. It looks pretty cool, although its just 1 on 1. I might give it a rent.

razazteca 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2004 I just bought a used copy of NBA Hangtime and just realized that this has been the engine used on nearly all Midway NBA games for what 5 years before people got annoyed with it. The create-a-character with the trivia point system was on the Dreamcast Midway basketball games which were merely player and court updates. But I'll still buy all of them If I can find them! Also I must say that Acclaim's NBA Jam Extreme was a complete piece of crap compared to the Midway basketball game Hangtime which was released the same year in 1996. Adam 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2004 NBA Jam on Genesis will always be the best, for the simple facts that: a) cool fire followed you around when you got 3 baskets in a row b) Detlef Schrempf is in the game. Oh, and I used the Bulls.
