It's amazing to me that Meltz would;ve fucked this up. I knew it was a show the whole time they were showing it and even advertised what time it would be on. Actually, it looked light years better than any other lame ass shows that UPN usually puts on.

I will admit that Jeff is a bit of a spot monkey (well, a fully-fledged one), but he can still work a decent match when need be.

And dammit, Jeff was fucking up spots because he just didn't give a shit, which, while being inexcusable and contradictory to what he has said in the Hardyz' novel (if you could call it that), it's not something that he does when he is trying to wrestle to the best of his ability.

 

And in regards to Jeff and the 'Taker's Ladder Match back in 2002, while it was a great match, a high point being to see such different styles mesh, it did nothing to get Jeff over as a strong singles competitor - I mean honestly - unless your a die hard Jeff Hardy and/or Undertaker fan, when you think of him, does that match sping to mind?

--There is a segment on tonight's Smackdown show that starts like a commercial for a Reality TV show with motocross stunts and the like. Then, at the end, it reads, "I Am Still Alive." It's a video for a new character they are bringing in, or at least appeared to be.

I doubt Meltzer watches much of anything on UPN, which is the norm for 90% of households with broadcast television in the United States.

 

 

EDIT: The reason Vince fired Hardy in the first place, was that Jeff refused to seek help for his addiction to painkillers. Until Jeff does admit he has a problem (which he hasn't yet, from my recollection), Vince will NOT hire him back.

Having actually talked to a bandmate or two of his online, (don't ask why, too long of a story) I gotta say it looks doubtful. While WWE would surely take him, I really don't think he's got the drive left in him. He's rich enough to live comfortably for the rest of his life and just wants to write horrible poetry and set it to ok music.
