haVoc 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 I don't get this company. Taker has been a damn side attraction his whole career. They don't need to feed their top guys to him. Turn the Dudleys heel, make them Angle's "hit men" and let them have handicap matches with Taker for a while. Or, let him actually feud with Bradshaw and move Booker up with Eddie. That's not a bad scenario, but seriously, do you think that WWE would do that?
haVoc 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 If the Dudleys were booked as the original badass heels they once were then it could be a fun feud if Taker was willing to sell and take a few table bumps along the way. I doubt the Dudleys are "good enough" for Taker to agree to work with, though. Bradshaw is what should have happen in the first place. If their gun ho on pushing him then he should of been given a upper mid-card feud to start. If he got over then move him up. If not then back to Velocity with Holly and Gunn. Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted April 9, 2004 You mean when the Dudleyz' gimmick was putting women through tables? I doubt that 'Taker would feud them anyway - it just doesn't seem right, although something really does need to happen with Bubba and D'Von, especially for SmackDown!'s Tag Team Division, because it still sucks (so does Raw's). They weren't going to slap Bradshaw's gimmick on him now when he debuted, if that's what you mean, Fear Havoc - it just wouldn't've worked. Bradshaw wasn't in the position that he's in now. And it would look really stupid if, after a feud, push and gimmick-change such as this, they have to put him back on Velocity.

And it would look really stupid if, after a feud, push and gimmick-change such as this, they have to put him back on Velocity. Stupid is as stupid does. Serious, that's why you don't push a new character/gimmick to the main event. You test the waters first.

Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 I was leaning towards Edge=Johnny the bull. What's that mean? Stamboli didn't have (to my knowledge) a run of multiple injuries. I know he broke his pelvis in WCW, but I don't recall any other injuries that stockpiled after that.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2004 (insert masterbation joke here) Seriously though, I'm torn on this. One half of me hopes Edge can make it to Backlash and go through with the match since I was actually looking forward to Edge / Kane, but then again with a legit injury like that, its been better if he bails out. I know I would. I'm sure Edge will wrestle the match. And the match isn't going to be that great anyways, so the injury shouldn't hinder it too much.
