Guest glennsoe Report post Posted April 11, 2004 If you get to "be" Vince McMahon, Johnny Ace or Jim Ross for one day....and you get to hire 5 guys and fire 5 guys, which wrestlers would you pick ??? My choices for Hire is; * A J Styles (For Smackdown; He would fit well in both cw division and Us division) * Sting (For Raw; I've always wanted to see the Stinger in wwe) * Kid Kash (For Smackdown; I'd put him at the top of the cw division) * Amazing Red (For Smackdown; Right at the top of the cw division) * Low Ki (For Raw; In a tag team with Tajiri) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My choices for Fired wrestlers would be; * Mark Henry * Billy Gunn * Bradshaw * Rosie * Hardcore Holly - These 5 are guys that have had theire chance to "shine" and have failed time and time again....Time to let new & fresh guys take your spots guys.....Buy buy.....The pleasure was all yours... - Glenn - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Maybe i'll get more heat for posting this....or maybe this will get many replys....Who knows.... CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2004 Fire: Lawler. I hate that guy. If he got fired, and him only, I'd be happy. Oh, and I'd hire a bunch of indy guys that I know just so I could say "You know, I saw that guy/gal wrestle BEFORE she was famous". Putting myself on a pedestal=the way to go. Guest JMA Report post Posted April 11, 2004 I really like the idea behind this thread. Fired Lita - Sloppy worker and terrible on the mic. She has no real value. Jon Heidenreich - Very green wrestler who was only pushed because of his size and look. Hardcore Holly - Unover and intentionally stiffs new guys. Doesn't deserve his spot on the roster. Billy Gunn - He'll never be the star the company wants him to be. They should just release him from his contract. Scott Steiner - VERY injury prone and past his prime. Hired CM Punk - Has a great character, can cut decent promos, and knows how to get it done in the ring. AJ Styles - The TRUE "Next Big Thing" in the wrestling business. Abyss - A dark and mysterious character that fans would pay to see. Christopher Daniels - One of the best personas (if not the best) on the indy scene today. He can cut chilling promos and is great inside the ring. Trinity - Would be a great addition to the women's division.
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2004 I don't know who to hire. FIRE 1) Lita - She's sloppy, terrible on the mic, and looks like a heroin addict. The female version of Jeff Hardy. 2) Hardcore Holly - Should have been fired after the Tough Enough incident. 3) Test - Aside from his look, he does nothing. He's also a problem backstage. 4) Mark Henry - Give it up. The experiment is over. 5) John Heidenreich - Nathan Jones part 2. He just can't cut it.
DCMaximo 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2004 FIRE: 1)Bradshaw- terrible worker, irritating prick in his wwe.com articles and is now in the midst of his second undeserved push 2)Hardcore Holly- a nothing wrestler, no mic skills, average in the ring, but with his best days behind him, and seemingly a jackass backstage 3)Orlando Jordan- serves absolutely no purpose...if he was fired now, would anyone notice? 4)John Heidenreich- ditto 5)Lita- my least favourite Diva. Sloppy as hell in the ring, no charisma and hasn't advanced, character-wise or in ring skills since 2000 HIRE 1 & 2)The Backseat Boys, Johnny Kashmere and Trent Acid- a decent tag team is needed to re-energise the stale tag divisions and the talented, charismatic Backseats would be the perfect heel team for Smackdown 3)Satoshi Kojima- It's rumoured that Kenzo Susuki, who is in OVW, will be called up as a bodyguard for Tajiri. Problem is that he sucks. Kojima, on the other hand, would be great as a partner for Tajiri, as he's a great worker and has a great range of facial expressions that just scream with charisma 4)Teddy Hart- would easily get over in the Cruiserweight division 5)I can't think of anyone else, so I'll finish with Scotty Anton/Riggs...just because
razazteca 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2004 Abyss - A dark and mysterious character that fans would pay to see The guy from NWA TNA? You can't be serious. Abyss is like Kane but slower, fatter, who wants to see that?

CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2004 Oh yes, Lita. If she wasn't so damn over with the marks, I'd fire her in a second. But she sells merchandise, so I wouldn't yet, for business reasons. But I'd for sure make her a valet instead of one of the cornerstone wrestlers of the women's division. Abyss is like Kane but slower, fatter, who wants to see that? Lots of people like him (including myself). I really dig his character for some reason. He does have a look but there is one problem, Abyss is slower than the average 6'5" 400 pound wrestler and as hard as it is for me it admit but Mark Henry, Chuck Palumbo, Dave Batista are better wrestlers than Abyss. Abyss is still years away from being a Heat jobber.

He has a cool moveset, which most hosses don't have and he has a great character that I can mark out for. It's unfair to group Palumbo in with Batista and Henry. Brocklock 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2004 That just shows that AJ Styles can carry anybody to a good match? Did you even see any of the Styles/Abyss matches? I'd Fire: Hardcore Holly - Unover, stiff, shitty worker, asshole Rikishi - Horrible worker, won't lose weight, stale as hell Billy Gunn - No one cares about him and he's an awful worker John Heidenreich - Worst Worker in the WWE Mark Henry - Second Worst Worker in the WWE I'd Hire: CM Punk - Great on the mike, great worker, he's the total package Burchill - the British hoss who can do standing shooting star presses and other high flying stuff Abyss - AJ Styles - Maybe the best worker not in WWE, not great on the mike because of his accent, but they have to let him keep most of his moveset Colt Cabana - Just for the comedy and he's a good worker

Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted April 13, 2004 Fire Bradshaw - Nothing good about him here. People have been praising his heel promos, but in my book that's not enough to get by. Bautista - Absolutely terrible in the ring with no personality. Otherwise, no good reason to keep him. Billy Gunn - Failed attempt after failed attempt to get over. Do I really even need to explain this one. Lita - She served her purpose as the Hardy's manager/valet, so if there is no Hardyz, there is no need for her as in-ring she is among the worst the WWE has to offer. Rosie - Terrible....just terrible. Get rid of him immediately. Hire Abyss - Make no mistake about it, he's one of if not the greatest big men today. He could be used in so many ways..... American Dragon - I know he is under 200 lbs, but with his wrestling ability he could still be a star. AJ Styles - One of the greatest workers on today's indy scene. He could wrestle anyone on the WWE roster.......and make them better. Christopher Daniels - Bring him in as a killer heel. He'd be awesome there....... tbondrage99 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2004 Its amazing to me that no one said they would fire Triple H, since everyone seems to hate him. Dont look at me though I think hes great, he would always have a job if it were up to me. Anyways I would Fire: Test Lita John Heindright Garrison Cade Orlando Jordan The only one of those people anyone would notice was gone would be Lita, and who really cares about Lita anyways? I would Hire: A.J. Styles Christopher Daniels Low-Ki Americas Most Wanted, Chris Harris & James Storm. I know thats six people but you could roll up AMW as one pick and the tag division needs a reall tag team thats good for a nice change of pace dont you think? Guest messiah2004 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 Fire Billy Gunn -He has been around for 10 years and aside from his stint in DX, has failed to make himself useful in any way. Has been incapable of putting on a good match and as decent as a tag teamer he is, that's all he is. Jon Heidenrich -Brings nothing to the table. They already have their big tall hoss in Matt Morgan and he has better potential. It's a telling sign when even J.R and the co. lose faith in him. Just him loose. Lita -While this might be a risky move, considering that she is pretty over with the crowd, it's an neccesary one. She's a injury risk to not just herself but to all the other workers in the ring with her. We have seen over the years that DIVAS are replacable. Liz got replaced by Sunny (though there was a good 4 year gap in between), Sable replaced Sunny, Chyna replaced Sable, Lita replaced Chyna, Trish has replaced Lita. Lita is on the same irrlevant level as Ivory is, at least Ivory can speaking english and can cut an interview. Test -In 1999, This guy should have become a star. He was an absolute huge face. Instead they flushed him down the toilet to be buried by Triple H and left him to fester in mindless tag team combonations with Albert, Booker T, Christian, Scott Steiner and force fed us his horrible acting in all of 2003 with his quasi-Face run with Stacy leading to many homoerotic exchanges with Steiner. Take his girlfriend with him as well. Hardcore Holly -1999 was so long ago wasn't it. In 1999, Holly reached the apex of his career, he was over and hadn't become a joke. Today, his apperences are met with apathy. That's not the main reason to dump him. He is a dangerous worker. He openly admits to purposly stiffing the younger workers out of his bitter frustrations. Hire Abyss. -If you want a monster heel, get someone who can get the job done right. CM Punk. -A fantastic worker and can also bring the ability to speak. Sting -While it's a push to bring in a aging veteran again, Sting is one of the very few big names (perhaps, the ONLY significant performer in North American Wrestling that hasn't come across McMahon's path). While, a full time slate wouldn't work for the Stinger, Mick Foley's recent return run shows that the fans are willing to get behind an old act. Sting is ideal for a Handful of appearences on a bigger national stage. Unlike Nash or Hogan, Sting runs along the lines of Foley, humble and willing to do what's asked of him. AJ Styles -While he lacks that look of "big time" star. He certaintly backs it up with his ability to work and that work drove him to the top of the TNA mountain. can't really think of another worker in Indy land that could make an impact. Guest Rrrsh Report post Posted May 13, 2004 Hire Sonny Siaki: This guy has the look and the Mic Skills, give him 6 months in OVW with Storm and his in-ring work will be fine Teddy Hart: Purely to continue the Hart name America Most Wanted: God the WWE needs Tag teams. Chris Daniels: This guy is very distinctive looking and can go on the mic. Plus he is smaller, but dosn't wrsetle small (like Bret Hart). Fire Jerry Lawler: He is way past his welcome, I think the WWE needs to go away from what Laweler charicter stands for. Rikishi: See Lawler Scotty: See Lawler Holly: Attitude backstage + Uselessness in the ring = Bu Bye Taker: Time he become a Road Agent
