the pinjockey Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Why don't they show the freaking time clock for the 2nd round? Christ. A cynic would say that they don't have the clock so they can put up the "current selection" whenever they feel like instead of actually covering the picks as they happen. <------is a cynic
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Tennessee grabs Travis LaBoy. I had Marquise Hill pegged over Travis. Heck, I think Antwan Odom is still available too.
the pinjockey Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Holy shit these RBs are going much much higher than I thought. Julius Jones to the Cowboys
Guest Vitamin X Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Not to imply anything, but Julius Jones does seem to run a lot like Emmitt Smith... Good balance, breakaway speed, and they're even similar size...
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Holy shit these RBs are going much much higher than I thought. Julius Jones to the Cowboys The big suprise was that teams that didn't really need an RB took one early, specifically St Louis and Cinci. Who knew they would both grab RBs? When Dallas traded down, it made a lot of sense.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Apparently EA doesn't think too highly of Chris Gamble
The Ghost of bps21 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Michael Jenkins does something Peerless Price couldn't do for the Falcons. Gets open.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 The Raiders are going to draft their whole O-Line this year evidently
Vern Gagne Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Apparently EA doesn't think too highly of Chris Gamble Gamble would of greatly benefited staying another year at Ohio St. He's Raw, and he likely would of been a Top 15, if not higher.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Kevin Jones. I only ask why that Minnesota Viking is 30 yards in the backfield.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 The Raiders are going to draft their whole O-Line this year evidently Its fill holes big time. But the hole at QB, RB, and WR are msot glaring at this point.
Bored Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 ESPN really needs to have a seperate telecast for the rounds after round 1 where they actually show the picks made and actually talk about those picks. I hate this endless analysis of picks made hours ago and interviews with coaches and general managers where they all say the exact same thing, "he was who we wanted all along blah blah blah blah."
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Randy Starks and Darnell Dockett sure have dropped.
MrRant Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Well Seattle needs another defensive lineman so I could see them picking one of them up.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 The Pats will be taking Will Poole or Shawnte Spencer in the 2nd round. Matt Ware and Sean Jones are also possibilities
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Why don't the Raiders trade to get a second round pick, they need to pick up some blood.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 New England's new Ben Coates; Ben Watson
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 you should resize it and cut out the EA & Madden crap for your sig
MrRant Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 New England's new Ben Coates; Ben Watson He's going to get flattened.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 So, Saints take Devery Henderson. And it seems like they took him just to spite the Ravens, who end up taking a DT. I'm not sure about this move. The Saints already have Joe Horn/Donte Stalworth/Jerome Pathon. They're ok at WR.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 MrRant must be over joyed with the SeaHawks pick this round. Helps their defense big time
MrRant Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I just wonder then if they move someone over to MLB now.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Boulware is a solid player, should be able to contribute right away for Seattle. Nice pick.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 You know what... FUCK ELI MANNING. Give me Ben or Philip. And this comes from a Giants fan...

But the hole at QB, RB, and WR are msot glaring at this point. Did the Raiders draft a Center to replace the Crackhead Robins who got lost in Mexico the day before the Superbowl?

Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 How is a man who suffers from Manic Depression with suicidal tendancies labeled a "CrackHead"? I'd really like an answer to that.
LaParkaMarka Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Jacksonville gives up a fourth rounder to move up and grab Greg Jones. I'm not getting any analysis of this right now, so anyone want to explain this to me? Insurance for injury-prone Fred Taylor?
