LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 I was left out of the writing credits. I know I only wrote a little segment, but it's something. I'll give more thoughts when I read the whole thing.
Tony149 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 I was left out of the writing credits. I know I only wrote a little segment, but it's something. The reason why was because I hadn't finished the credits yet (still had to add PR's stuff). NorthStar posted the show using what I had completed (I put out my version as well, which is pretty much what NS posted, but I spent so much time putting it together I put it out there). Hoff 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 I hate Mona Lisa Smile. Good show. I'm eager to see where the different plot twists lead.
Adam 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 Great show by all. Kudos to Eskimo for a great 2/3 falls match, and to Panther for a Phenomenal 2/3. The finish to Zack/Sly was certainly very interesting, and the PR/Cappa and Hoff/Gibraltar matches were good to read. Drek/Dama was also good, and the AM DVD commercial was fun to read. Feedback on Axel/Gunner would be much appreciated also. Great effort guys, job well done.

NYU 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 PRL/The Mad Cappa - Unfortunately, I think the match was cut off with Abe Vigoda coming out as Colombian Heat walks to the back. At this point, I'm assuming the Cappa won.......either way, from what I was able to read, it was a great contest and a good way to end the PRL/Cappa feud for now. The PRL/Cappa matches have always been among the best-written I've seen since joining the OAOAST, and this was no exception. It also really dealt with the Colombian Heat Referee spot well, and it put over just how high the stakes are and how much of a bastard Heat was being. Once again, from what I've seen, it was a great ending to an amazing feud. Skull Mask & Skull Kid vs. The Global Party Exchange - Nice match. It successfully put over Skull Mask and Skull Kid as threats for the Tag Team titles, but it still remained competitive enough to make it a good match to read. Good job with this one, Dama. While the result was obviously predictable, the match did a fine job at leading up to the result. Ryan Smith vs. Cuban Wall - Very fun match to read. I enjoyed the battle for the advantage at the end, and the chain stipulation was dealt with nicely. It wasn't used TOO much, but it was used enough to have a large impact on the match ending. Well done. Axel vs. Gunner Sharps - Another enjoyable match. I loved the way Axel snuck out of the crowd to surprise Gunner Sharps, and that this would have such a major effect on the match ending and, basically, the entire match. The attacks on the knee were well done, never becoming too repetitive, and Gunner's comebacks really did make the match more exciting. I especially enjoyed the "ONNNNNNNEEEEEEE... ...TWOOOOOOOOOOOO... ..THRRRREEEEEEEEEEE... ....FOURRRRRRRRR.....FOUR?!......HA FUCKING HA" commentary. I wish you wouldn't have used the Ringpost Figure-Four right before my match, but what can you do? Hoff vs. Gibraltar - Very hard-hitting, hoss-type kind of match. I really liked the fact that it was more brawling and punch-kick type of stuff, rather than being technically-sound, since it set this match apart from the other matches on the card. The ending also genuinely surprised me, since I figured Hoff was going to pull this one out. Really enjoyed it. Panther vs. Chris Bryte - For me, this was the Match of the Night. It really had everything. Lots of back-and-forth action, humor with the Triple H cameo, a lot of drama with Tina and who's side she was on - everything just really worked for me with this. The ending was also very unpredictable, as everything leading up to it made you second-guess just what Tina's motives are and which guy would wind up having to retire. I just can't say enough good things about this one. AJ Flaire vs. Dan Black - Had to deal with a tough spot, being another 2-out-of-3 falls match and following what Panther/Bryte had just put out, but I think it turned out successfully. All of the well-placed technical moves and different combinations made it a LOT of fun to read, and I liked the psychology of Black using the brass knucks between the two falls. It really did live up to the reputation of a X-Division type of matchup. Zack Malibu vs. Sly Sommers - Dramatic match. It really showed just how much each guy wanted to beat the other, and how desperate they were to get the final fall. LOVED the ending. A few weeks ago, there was a thread asking what could turn Zack heel, and the action with the brass knuckles planted the seeds perfectly. The foundation of a double turn with Zack and Sly was done very well, and I wouldn't be disappointed at all to see them have a rematch at School's Out with possibly the heel and face roles reversed. So, even though it's cut out, the match continues in the next post. Awesome show guys. I don't know if it's better than AngleMania III, but it was pretty good. I was suprised at Zack's heelish behaviour and the fans booing him. Zack winning the match doing something Sly would do was interesting, and the announcer's questioning his actions was pretty cool. It was the most interesting part of the show. I wonder if that will actually lead to something? I can't wait to see the results. I loved the Panther/Chris Bryte match and was shocked with the ending. That looks to be heading somewhere interesting too. And the AngleSault commercial was pretty funny too. Thanks for the feedback to the P.R./Cappa match. I had alot of fun writing this feud, and I'm glad you enjoyed reading it. Once again, a Thumbs Up.
Ed Wood Caulfield 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2004 Oh and one more thing, since the P.R./Cappa feud is now over, anyone in the OaOasT is allowed to use The Mad Cappa character, and you will have 100% control of him. I'm pretty much done with him for now, but I don't want Cappa and the Puerto Rican Championship to fade away following the P.R./Cappa feud, so I talked with Cappa, and he saids it's okay for his character to still be active, and the person who feuds with Cappa will have 100% control of his character. So, if anyone needs someone and something to feud with, you can use Cappa and the OaOasT Puerto Rican Championship, which is also still active. All I ask is that you PM me first and let me know that you want to feud with Cappa, just so that 2 or 3 people don't feud with him at once.
