And when you take away the Kurds, that number goes significantly down.

Let's just annex a large chunk of land, declare it Kurdistan, help them set up a democracy, and leave the rest of Iraq and just say "fuck 'em". Then again, I guess Iraq would just attack Kurdistan...again...and we'd have to go back and help them...again...fuck this nation building thing is hard...

Not... really. CNN did a pretty good story a while back on this, actually. Once again, the press keeps showing us the same areas and the same problems over and over, which continually amplify the problem over there to humongous proportions.

 

You know, this may be me talking while liquored up, but I'm quite sure I'm right on this one.
