Hoff 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2004 I thought the turn was awesome! You knew something was coming, but THAT...surreal. I can't wait to see where it goes. And I did NOT see Bryte's turn on Tina coming. Good stuff. I haven't had time to read the tourney yet, as I just got home, but at first glance it looks solid. I was really pulling for the GPX. NYU 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2004 -The Zack/Crystal/Calvin stuff at the end was great. The pacing of it was perfect and, although it was possible to see it coming, the actual consequences of it occurring just made it seem like it was the type of event that would never happen. I look forward to heel Zack in the future, and just what kind of stuff he could have planned. -The Tag Team Tourney, from what I read, was solid. I didn't get to read over the entire thing, but I made sure to skim over every match, and they all seemed like they had positives. Liked the fact that Dan Black and T-Bod went over in the final round because that means more of one thing.....JIVIN JIM ROSS~!~! -Loved the Bryte/Tina wedding. In fact, I've been feeling the whole Love Triangle since I've started reading it. Bryte's turn on Tina was shocking, and his beatdown of Tina afterwards made him seem like a real bastard. Very well-done heel turn and a very well-done angle. Just great. -As for the rest, I really liked it. Very enjoyable card tonight.....ESPECIALLY that Drek/Cappa segment lost somewhere in the middle. Cappa's speech was exactly how I pictured how he would actually write it. And I can't wait to see what you have in store for the feud. Tony149 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2004 I thought the show was very soild. While I knew about Zack's turn in advance, it's still a sight to behold. It was one of those things that you'll believe when you see it, and we saw it. I look forward to seeing what heel Zack can do. Especially since School's Out is his show. I had planned on "retiring" until AM IV, but when Mystery Eskimo asked if I had any interest in forming a tag team, I jumped at the chance to try something different. We hope to bring the tag division to another level. That's been one thing that has never really caught on since everybody wants to do their own thing. Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2004 I'd just like to say... I SWERVED YOU ALL~! In all honesty, the recent talk of what could turn me heel, would I ever do it, etc. was surprising to me. My replies of "a heel character isn't in me", etc. was just damage control, because my heel turn has been a concrete plan since NOVEMBER. Yes, I've gone six months knowing exactly how I was going to do it, and just covering my tracks in the meantime. That said, I'm glad it was taken well by everyone. CC and I are pretty excited about where we want to go with this, and all I can say is wait and see what's in store, because my full effort is going into this. Onto other stuff... The tag tourney was very well done. While we lost the lovable heel Northstar character, his return to writing with the COD team has already led to many laughs. The guy is an original. Also glad to see the team of Black T getting the belts, as hopefully the tag team scene will catch a spark with two OAOAST vets as the main draw of it. Papacita, NY Untouchable and Dama all continue to impress. Dama knows how to work a feud well, Papa's offbeat humor is a great read, and Untouchable has done so much in so little time that he's my early pick for Rookie Of The Year (if we actually DO an end of the year show this time).
