Judgment Day 2000 is the only good one.

Seems that way, doesn't it?

Must be a curse on the event.

While there mayb be a curse on the event, JD 2000 was one of the best all around shows that WWF had ever produced. I would say that whatever PPV falls in December is cursed, as I dont think WWF has ever put on a decent December PPV.

Could be. They managed to have Eddy vs. Benoit on the card, and even that match was a letdown.

Actually, wasn't Armageddon 1999 shockingly good? The card didn't look too good, but people were busting ass and it was pretty entertaining up and down the card.

Oh, and it had b00bi35 LoL!~

I think the reasoning behind that is that it's near the Holidays, and they don't try as hard as they can.

"I think the reasoning behind that is that it's near the Holidays, and they don't try as hard as they can."

So that explains all those crappy Starrcades...

JD 2000 is great, but JD 2001 is also a terrific show. Underrated IMO.

Any PPV that has HHH jobbing and Benoit in four matches can't be all bad.

I'm also a big fan of JD 2001. I really, really liked the whole Taker/Austin feud of that time, and was leaping about my living room when Kane dethroned Hunter in a decent chain match.

Good stuff all round, with Benoit putting in the hardest work.

Judgment Day 03 was a joke of an event. This year's JD will have to be pretty awful to even match the crappiness of last year's event.

Though I'd be surprised if JBL vs Eddie is as decent as Brock vs Big Show was.

I vividly remember with amazement a few posters, who shall remain nameless (for the time being), defending last year's JD PPV. Even on paper, it looked atrocious. The Stretcher match was probably the best thing from that card and that paled in comparison to what WWE put out last year. Truncated match after truncated match, and for what? Austin/Bischoff skits that were no different from any RAW from that time? Austin had to jazz up the crowd at the beginning of the show, that spoke volumes right there. The bulk of the PPV focus being on Nash's non-sensical push and the Mr. America / Zach Gowan debacle didn't help. It's one of those PPVs that everyone (including WWE) would like to forget.

Without a doubt, May was the worst month quality-wise for WWE in 2003. Will the same be said for 2004?

Wow, I never knew Spanky actually made it on a WWE PPV.... I would ask if the match was any good but the 3:58 time of the match pretty much answers that question.

Wow . . . Benoit sure had an eventful year and a half since the title match with Kurt at the Rumble. Nearly winning that to being on the losing team (in 4 minutes no less, well a tad less) in a 6 man nothing match, and then back to the title picture.

But what did they actually *do* on last years PPV? I mean I count slightly over an hour of match time . . . what the hell did they do for the rest of the ppv?

If I've done my sums right, that Iron man Match was only like 5 minutes shorter than every match on that PPV combined. Wassup wit dat?

I watch Judgment Day 2001 all the time.

Regal/Rikishi has no place on a PPV, as both suck.

Lita/Chyna was god-awful. Chyna kept nippling out.

The 3-way Hardcore Match was god-awful.

Benoit/Angle...mixed feelings. it was pretty damn good and exciting. But its a 2/3 falls match and Benoit wins the first fall in like 2 MINUTES! Are you kidding me? The ending to this match also SUCKS, as E & C simply hold Benoit out of the ring as Angle climbs the ladder and wins. Plus the premise for the match is LAME: "you stole my medels!" Call the cops, pussy. Overrated match/premise.

Kane/HHH sucks. Sorry.

Taker/Austin is BORING and they MISS THE FINISH OF AUSTIN PINNING TAKER. COME ON.

The only redeemable thing is the tag team turmoil.

But the decent team of Malenko/Saturn is dispatched of by the slow APA. Then we get the Dudleys brawling with the APA. Then X-Factor (who I thought had potential) getting rid of the APA and Hardyz.

Jericho/Benoit v. X-Factor, and then E & C were good matches!

I can't believe that show is getting praise. Backlash, which was pretty shitty, was even better overall.
