I happened to check the card for their July 31 show, and Mike Modest is listed as scheduled to appear. Austin Aries and Robby Mireno have been added to the debut show, so it looks like Blackout and Generation Next could be stables in the promotion.

Wow, Styles, Daniels, and Red return to New England.

8/28 is also when ROH is scheduled to return to MA. I wonder if they're going to try and run head to head (a dumb idea, IMO). It's probably better if they do a day-night thing and maximize the amount of fans for both shows.

Don't get your hopes up.

If you check out that new station's website they list only Denver as a guaranty area that will carry the station.

Well the channel won't debut till September, so they have time to run a show. Putting H2 on a channel that hasn't been debuted yet is a good idea. Everyone will be talking about it, and H2 will be on it. The 8/28 sounds awesome.

Found this at http://www.declarationofindependents.net/f...opic.php?t=4759:

I am going to make a long story even longer. Ok lets go back to a month or two when H2 was first announced. I was so excited for something new, and I hadnt paid attention to MLW so I didnt care what everyone said about h2 and how they are going to close in a month or two. I supported them since day one without them even having a show. I even went as far as to print out hundreds of fliers to pass out at concerts, the mall, and such. They seemed very friendly and appreciative. Days went by everything seemed fine, they announced workers every few days and matches next. Then they announced that they sent out tickets monday june 14th. I live in NY and the "h2 offices" (courts house prolly) and also in NY so I figured 4 days TOPS!! if that.

Well saturday the 19th rolls around and I still didnt get my tickets. I emailed them and they 'tracked' them and said they would be arriving Monday. Well I didnt get them monday, or tuesday or wendseday. I emailed numberous times without any answer. Then wednesday night they announced that the show was canceled. wow. I figure they mustve put a stop to my tickets somehow through the post office. they didnt even have the balls to tell me. which is bullshit. They could careless that I bought three tickets and was driving 6 hours basically with little to no money. I work in a discount grocery store, I make basically nothing. But I spent money on h2 because I thought it deserved it. Boy was I wrong.

So on the h2 website they said that anyone needing a refund should email [email protected]. Well I sent an email to them 21st, 23rd, 25th. No answer. Until I talked to mike johnson who always tries to help people. and he talked to court for me and within seconds court emailed me and said he would be sending me a refund via paypal and I should have it within the next three business days. That was friday. And everyone knows that with paypal, saturday is considered a business day too. So i emailed him on tuesday night and asked him if I was going to get my refund because it had been plenty of time for him to send money from his bank to paypal and then instantly send it to me. He replied in a very rude manner telling me it hasnt been three business days yet. He was getting annoyed. well doesnt he think i was getting annoyed that he robbed my money? what an asshole.

He told me that if i didnt get my refund on thursday the "third business day" to kindly contact them. Which I did twice that evening. No answer. and I know he was online because I saw him lurking the h2 boards.

Which brings me to my next fun filled fact. I kept posting msgs on the board asking when I was going to get my refund and asking if anyone else had not got theirs yet. Court kept deleting them whenever i posted them. this by the way was happening for the past week and a half too. He finally got so mad at me he BANNED ME FROM THE BOARDS for asking if anyone got their refunds!! Yeah that looks really professional. It isnt even like I was being slanderous. I was being polite through the whole thing. for those interested I can paste and copy the emails I sent. they were nothing but understanding and nice. maybe too nice thats why he screwed me over.

Why would you ban me from the boards if you planned on giving everyone refunds? are you kiddingme? obviously he must have been hiding something....wouldnt you want the fans to know that you are trustworthy and have people talk about what great customer service you have and how quick everyone got their refunds? They had no intention of ever sending me my money. $62 is alot to someone who makes $200 a week.

I am only telling this story because I want everyone to know how big of an asshole the people running h2 are, how evil they are. no wonder mlw shut down. I hope h2 never has a first show. I feel sorry for the entire locker room, there isnt one shitty worker in the whole bunch. its just the people running it. or should I say person, court. because to my knowledge hes the one ive been dealing with this entire time. Maybe teddy if you read this maybe you can make h2 look better and give me a refund and Ill come back to everywhere I put this msg and say that im the asshole and i got my money. but until i get my money I hope everyone boycotts h2.

believe me, im not too sure they will ever have a debut show, and everyone who orders tickets could get screwed just like i did. I dont want anyone getting robbed and having to go through what I have the past two weeks to get a meesly $62. Obviously it means alot to court too or he wouldve just sent me my money.

I hope everyone reads this and realized what a mockery h2 is to the wrestling business. look at ring of honor, they had to move their show within a week of the date, they gave speedy refunds and cut their ticket prices by 2/3. now thats customer service. what h2 did is embarassing and Im sorry for everyone worker in the company that has to work for court bauer what an asshole.

"Our deepest apology for this delay. As a make good for this unacceptable

delay we would like to offer you a complimentary pair of tickets to our

7/31 event and a free DVD. We understand and value you as a fan more than

you can imagine and again apologize."

Same guy who said the post that Lucharesu posted said this. And another guy in the same thread responded by saying, "I got my refund, and my DVD a few days ago, where we you?"

Yeah that theyekid guy was impatient as hell.

He posted that message on every single forum I go to, I highly doubt he's going to go back to all of them and say he received the goods.

The refund email wasn't working the first day they put it up, but it worked the second day and I got the refund almost immediately. This guy was just impatient.

theyekid was a prick anyway. I got in to a huge war with the SOB on the H2 boards which got him warned already. Glad they banned his BUTT. I haven't heard one complaint other than his about the refunds.

The Altitude deal seems odd to me, being they aren't running in the Rocky Mountain area. But, hey, maybe Altitude will expand out? It strikes me as another Sunshine type network anyway.

I talked to TJ Wilson the other night about H2 and he doesn't even have a clue what's going on with the promotion. Seems like a lot of people are already losing faith.

Austin Aries vs. Chris Hero and Matt Martel vs. Mike Modest have been signed for the 7/31 show, and Jay Lethal vs. Quiet Storm and Minnamino vs. Taiji Ishimori have been resigned for 7/31

Sabu vs. Super Dragon and Havana Pitbulls vs. Los Maximos have been added to 7/31. Alex Shelley, Roderick Strong, Ruckus, Sonjay Dutt, and the Thomaselli Brothers are also signed for the show. I'm guessing Alex Shelley and Roderick Strong vs. Thomaselli Brothers and Ruckus vs. Sonjay Dutt will be the final two matches on the card.

Typical Court. Book on a day ROH scheduled in February 04, and then ask ROH to run in the afternoon at 2pm, which is not feasible for them. They have to do pre show promos, out of towners come, etc. Only Court Bauer would leak the emails to a wrestling website when he's trying to make a deal with the guy. Amazing. I'm opening up a promotion 7/31, I demand court run in the afternoon!

I already booked the afternoon actually - didn't you know? ROH needs to start promptly at 8:00 AM so I can get my TDtron set up in time.

Sadly it looks like MLW 37.0 is dead (shocking indeed ;) )

from PWInsider:

"H2WRESTLING CANCELS ALL EVENTS AFTER COURT BAUER LEAVES PROJECT DUE TO ISSUES WITH OVERSEAS INVESTORS

by Mike Johnson @ 11:23:00 PM on 7/23/2004

With its debut show just a week away, H2Wrestling has for all intents and purposes shut down operations as Executive Producer Court Bauer resigned from the project this evening after issues arose with his overseas investors, WGO Properties. Fans who purchased tickets for H2's 7/31 event will receive refunds via Paypal.com this weekend. Bauer issued the following statement to PWInsider.com in regard to the situation:

Dear fans,

After careful thought and consideration as of Friday July 23, 2004 I tendered my resignation from the H2 Pro-Wrestling project. Our investors have decided due to my resignation and other factors to not proceed with the project effective immediately. As such, all H2 events are now cancelled as the venture has come to an end. All those who paid for tickets will be refunded immediately. My heartfelt and sincere apologies goes out to the dedicated H2 crew and fans for this difficult announcement.

See you at the matches.

Sincerely,

Court Bauer

The problems with WGO actually had nothing to do with H2Wrestling itself, but Bauer's former promotion Major League Wrestling. In recent weeks, WGO (which had purchased the assets of the company after MLW shut down in February 2004), had decided to revive MLW in order to produce new footage to be syndicated in the Asian markets. WGO had originally approached Bauer about heading MLW again several weeks back, but Bauer declined, citing a lack of time and interest due to his H2 responsibilities and outside commitments.

Bauer instead suggested a number of names to take charge of the MLW project including Terry Funk, Steve Corino, Afa, and Stephen DeAngelis but all were rejected by WGO. During a conference call this evening, the investors again informed Bauer that they wanted him to head up MLW and that they wanted to him to produce a live show by the end of August. When Bauer declined, he was informed that he would have to work on both the H2 and MLW projects, or WGO wasn't interested in funding H2Wrestling. Bauer opted out of both projects.

H2's debut had been scheduled for 7/31 in Braintree, MA. Their initial debut show last month had been cancelled after issues with the scheduled venue in Somerville, MA. Over the last week, the promotion had found themselves head to head with Ring of Honor over both promotions scheduling shows on 8/28 in Braintree, which H2 attempted to difuse earlier today by announcing an afternoon belltime. The promotion had also announced that Teddy Hart, originally touted as one of H2's Executive Producers, had been relegated to talent only after going into business for himself on an Internet radio show and making baseless claims about the event.

Bauer noted tonight that he has no additional plans to get involved in the promotional end of the business again. He intends to focus on a screenplay he has written and is in the process of trying to get produced"

I just feel bad for all the wrestlers and fans suckered in by this thing...

Jay, please don't ban me for saying this, but Jesus fucking Christ. This is just insane. Everyone was right.

WOW, just WOW.

About what Soylent Green Is People had to say about this - I'm not all that shocked (although I was sure that after being so stupid and having to cancel the first show, and messing up with MLW, they'd get it right this time), I'm just in awe at how unorganized a "business man" could be.
