Ripper Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 I never had a convo with the due in question, Corey, but jesus the amount of penis suckage he has recieved around here is fucking sad. Coey....the guy that can write better and gets more pussy than everyone here.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 This thread's a hot item right now..12 members looking at it. This is still getting into generalities. Any moderating beefs should be taken directly to the moderators in question. Call us out, dammit, don't say "Threads should/shouldn't be closed."
Zack Malibu Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 No problem. Honestly, I'm glad this thread was started because the board is getting good, constructive feedback, and that's what's needed to run a good ship. For instance, look above. Zsasz and I don't always see eye to eye, but we're in agreement on this. It's showing how some people truly feel about recent happenings, and that can only be good for board progress. Honestly and truly, I've got respect for each and everyone of you who feels the need to speak up on anything. You shouldn't be forced to quell an opinion. If you have something to say, you've got a right to it.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 we have called people out. For a long time now. and ripper...it's Coey not Corey.
Ripper Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 This thread's a hot item right now..12 members looking at it. Its almost like you fuckers forgot that I am the most important thing around here. Pay attention to me BITCHES~!
Guest Dids Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 My vote for thread closing is this. I see a thread in the WWE folder, it's 5 pages. I think "Hmm.. this might be interesting, some good debate". It ends up being 5 pages of the same argument and flame baiting. If it's just the same point being argued over and over again, why waste the server space. That's my biggest issue with the WWE folder. It's just the same stuff over and over again.

The rpoblem is, most threads in the WWE Folder don't even get a full page. because 90% is still crap.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 ...are these threads in question mostly wrestling related? If so, then fuck off with the complaining. It's wrasslin'.
alfdogg Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 If you rearrange the letters in "Angelslayer", it spells out "Really Agnes."
Zack Malibu Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 The only thread that I think should be closed is the RAW/Smackdown threads, because the idea (I believe it was Spiff) came up to close that thread, and put up a Post RAW/SD analysis thread, that way people didn't need to surf through 15-20 pages to see if someone had already posted a similar opinion. Plus, it allows people who watch RAW on tape delay/when they get home/etc. a chance to summarize their thoughts on the show. That idea was well accepted, so that's pretty much the only time I would close a thread (again, barring special cases).

But if the thread is about something important and people are discussing things then there's no reason to close it. I think there needs to be a guidline governing thread closures sometimes. I mean shite is shite but some things are closed do to some mod's bias's/
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Credit me or get banned. I just said that, alf. *aims .45*

Ripper Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 If you rearrange the letters in "Angelslayer", it spells out "Really Agnes." if you change the letters in "alfdog" it says it says Old Fag. Is there something you need to tell us, alf?

I'm just saying- do we need 5 threads all discussing how Randy Orton sucks and HHH holds people down? I certainly don't think so, which is why I steer clear of the wrestling section. I'd have dozens of people pissed within minutes. Plenty of other mods who are actually interested in the subject matter police that area.

I mean shite is shite but some things are closed do to some mod's bias's/ To me, the reason why people are mods is because they SHOULD have the insight to know when an argument has run its course and when it needs to die. Another point, IF a thread is closed- the Mod shouldn't voice an opinion and then shut it down (see Tom, Dr.). And threads in HD should never be closed. That's the point of having and HD.
Ripper Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 C'mon, Ripper... I'm only 21. I don't see a birth certificate.

I understand if you can't answer. You seem to have an issue w/ the new mods. Didn't Dames basically say the board was Tom's to run as he sees fit until he gets back?
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Actually, one mod did so. Me. Seriously, what did he say when you told him I was a mod? I know his feelings about me are mixed at best.

Zack Malibu Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 I'm not saying anything on the matter, either public or via PM, because talking about my convo's with Dames are not my place. Whenever he gets back online, it's his place to discuss things. I'm not going to speak for anyone but myself.

I think that it's odd that this is all happening without Dames knowing. Zack is connected to Dames and no one has even thought to ask Dames opinion? that's prerrt fucked.
