Cheex Incarnate 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2004 The new Punisher blew hard, but that song that Mark Collie sings (i think his character's name was Harry Heck, or something) is awesome. I bought the soundtrack just to listen to that over and over since its not on any other Collie CDs. Do any of you listen to Collie, and if so, what do you recomend? -Cheex
Downhome 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2004 I can't freaking believe that someone on this board is talking about Mark Collie! I've been a fan of his since his debut, in the late 80's and early 90's. Just go down through all of his albums and download as much of it as you can, I like all of his material. Then again, I'm a huge Country fan.
Cheex Incarnate 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2004 Ain't nothing wrong with country. I myself was surprised I hadn't heard of Mark Collie, being a fan of the scene myself. MY personal favorites are Charlie Feathers, the Twangbangers, Alabama, and Johnny Cash (if you want to call him country) -Cheex
Vyce 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2004 That is, indeed, an awesome song. Country's a much maligned genre, and with some good reason - as soon as start getting into the "pop country" realm like the Dixie Chicks or modern day Garth Brooks, it's all shit. If you go for more of the harder, purer stuff, it can be quite good.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted May 8, 2004 Seether ~ Broken is also on the Punisher soundtrack (I believe, it was on the trailer commercial playing in the backround anyway). That's currently my favorite song, so....
FroGG_NeaL 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2004 I think it's actually the acuostic version of "Broken" that features Amy Lee from Evanesense. Still a good tune though, as well as the one this thread was about. F~N
The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2004 Well, Spawn sucked, but anything by Moby is great and can go very well with some movies: (see: the ending to "Heat")
