Guest Cerebus Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 Story here. The Weekly Standard claims that the killer has possible ties with Hamas. I wonder why this didn't get any attention...

Guest Cerebus Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 Ah yes the Southeastern Missourian, the Southern Illinoisan, and KFVS Missouri. The Big Media Three I like to call 'em. Actually, I read this on Weekly Standard but could find no mention it in any of the "big" media outlets (NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times CNN etc.) and I had to do a google news search for it (the same one you linked to) so people wouldn't scream OMGBIASLOL. The only "name" papers were the St. Louis Dispatch and the Seattle Intelligencer for, what seems to me, to be a substantial story.
tommytomlin Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 This story made the Australian news last month, if that's any consolation.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 See, cereb, it reached a whole CONTINENT. Chill out, conspiracy nut...
Guest hunger4unger Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 Speaking of conspiracy stuff and things that have gone unreported, anyone heard about photos of US troops raping an Iraqi woman being around?
kkktookmybabyaway Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 That's new to me. Source, please. But pictures or streaming video would be better. (I know I'm going to hell, don't bother reminding me...)
Ripper Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 That's new to me. Source, please. But pictures or streaming video would be better. (I know I'm going to hell, don't bother reminding me...) Man, you are going to hell. Ripper- Not reading anything in between () since 1999.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 (Why don't blacks want their kids to marry Hispanics? ...) Nah, I'm not finishing this; a stupid joke isn't worth getting possibly warned by a Mod. PM me for the punchline if anybody cares...
Guest BDC Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 Speaking of conspiracy stuff and things that have gone unreported, anyone heard about photos of US troops raping an Iraqi woman being around? I'm convinced you make this crap up as you go now.
Guest hunger4unger Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 There are two pictures and some blurb about it up at Bartcop.com. I'm not saying I believe it happened, was curious if anyone else had heard anything about it.

So, a ton of major news sources IGNORED the story? Yup, no bias there. -=Mike
Jobber of the Week Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 I can't tell you which papers put it in print and what page, but AP stories, particularly AP stories in the middle east, show up in a lot of papers and web sites.

Jobber of the Week Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 Also, just so I can prove you wrong once for all, I guess the BBC, the Washington Post, the Washington Post again, MSNBC, the Boston Globe, and the fucking New York Times are all Conservative, because no lib source will touch the story. Now will everybody just 'fess up and admit there's no grand conspiracy here?
tommytomlin Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Maybe they can complain about the word count in the stories and how it indicates a liberal bias in favour of the U.N.
