Guest Real F'n Show Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 from wwe.com: Velocity preview for May 8, 2004 Since joining forces with Theodore Long, Mark Jindrak has been on a roll, and this week on Velocity he will try to continue his hot streak when he faces Scotty 2 Hotty. Will Jindrak’s new-found mean streak prevail, or will the veteran Scotty 2 Hotty find a way to win? Find out on Velocity. Also on Velocity, the WWE Tag Team Champions Rico & Charlie Haas will be in action … and that always means some entertaining and flamboyant antics from Rico. Find out what he will do this Saturday on Velocity. Velocity will also take a look back at a wild night of SmackDown! this week that included a very emotional evening for the Guerrero family. Catch all of the highlights this week on Velocity at 7/6 PM CT on Spike TV. 2 matches? And where's Paul London been lately? The Smackdown brand really blows.
Fökai Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 2 matches? And where's Paul London been lately? The Smackdown brand really blows. London's on the show tonight. Announced matches: Jamie Noble v. Spike Dudley. Akio v. Orlando Jordan Scotty II Hotty v. Mark Jindrak. Rico / Charlie Haas v. London / Kidman.
Lord of The Curry Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 Teddy Long gets ten points for using the line "I love ya like a fat kid love cake". And yes, I know that line is from a 50 Cent song.
Nevermortal Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 Jindrak reminds me of Lemonhead from The Shield.
Lord of The Curry Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 Jindrak reminds me of Matt Morgan with a little less muscle mass and no goatee. He should start yelling "YEAH!" for no reason in matches like Morgan did. Come back Matt, we miss you.
Guest Choken One Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 they need to revaluate the time slot thing...even though im doing nothing...i totally forgot bout this.
Guest Choken One Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 Am I the only one disturbed that the crowd popped for the first kiss attempt? Neways. fun match. But as always London drastically misused here.
Guest Real F'n Show Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 My god, why can't they just use London on Smackdown? Have they ever given a reason? I mean the guy has charisma, and he's just what the cruiserweight division needs (besides Jackie not being champ of course).
Guest Choken One Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 I'm still holding out hope that the whole Jacquline thing was just done so Chavo can MURDER her next week and thus vacate the title and set up a 8 man tournament.

Silence Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 My god, why can't they just use London on Smackdown? Have they ever given a reason? When's the last time London's won a match in WWE anyway? He's almost a jobber now, it seems.
reign Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 I don't think he has...we should all make an effort to boycott SuckDown! and start watching Velocity in droves(is that a word)...I'll get every single person I know to start watching Velocity even if they've never even watched the WWE before because SD! has become a terrible place for wrestlers...
JoeDirt Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 I taped Velocity and I'm watching it now... Jindrak has the robe now? He's a COMPLETE ripoff of Luger now? Wow.
JoeDirt Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 Jordan vs. Akio now. Poor Yang is a big jobber, and it seems like Sakoda never even wrestles.
JoeDirt Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 "Rico going for a kiss on London! This is GREAT, Bill!!!!"
DangerousDamon Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 My god, why can't they just use London on Smackdown? Have they ever given a reason? When's the last time London's won a match in WWE anyway? He's almost a jobber now, it seems. I believe the last match Paul London has won was back in March the week after WM 20. He and Kidman beat Akio and Sakoda I think after London hit a 450 splash. Yes that's right. A 450.

He and Kidman beat Akio and Sakoda I think after London hit a 450 splash. Yes that's right. A 450. It was Akio and Tajiri and it was a good match. I'm all for the boycott of Smackdown and watching Velocity in droves, since the last time I watched Smackdown was when Rey fought Eddie for the title. Wouldn't it be great if the Velocity TV rating surpassed Smackdown's? Too bad it'll never happen.
razazteca Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 Anybody want to explain why Spike Dudley no longer wears a shirt?
Guest Real F'n Show Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 So he can show off his gigantic muscles?

Bad wording on my part, I just meant that I thought the match was good.

Unless you or anyone you know has a Neilsen rating box, it's not gonna make any difference,
Guest Coffey Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 Unless you or anyone you know has a Neilsen rating box, it's not gonna make any difference, That's not entirely true. A lot of capable companys can monitor their customers viewing habits and record them. Especially if you use one of those swank cable provider cable boxes.
razazteca Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 What about Tivo, does that monitor customers habits?
Spaceman Spiff Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 Anybody want to explain why Spike Dudley no longer wears a shirt? First things first - I want to find out why he actually beats people.
