After watching a promo for Judgement Day earlier, I was thinking. Does anyone else think Mordechai's going to make his debut by causing Taker his match with Booker T this Sunday?

Shouldn't this wait for the Judgment Day thread after this week's SmackDown! ?

Anyway, I'd say that something's going to happen there. After just checking out the Raw results, I honestly don't give a shit about SmackDown! at this point.

The chances of that happening are high, and it would make sense, give 'Taker something after Judgment Day and not make Booker T look bad.

But run-ins such as that possible one are really wearing thin.

If Booker is to be a credible challenger to Eddie next, he can't just get straight-up squashed like some two-bit chump. He needs to at least find a way to look good if Mordechai isn't the one costing Undertaker the match.

Says the guy that started a Judgment Day thread waaaaaay too early. Or was it the Backlash thread? Eh, either way, it was really friggin' early.

I was just thinking... y'know Mordechai's promo videos act like he going to debut at JD and the dirtsheets say that he's supposed to either be the new Taker or Taker's new bitch so it would make sense.

I think that Mordecai could get some offense in on 'Taker with Booker, obviously causing the DQ, but the Undertaker manages to come off victorious, over Mordecai at least.

As for the second part, it was Judgment Day. But I learnt my lesson. :P

I would be really REALLY REALLY surprised if Taker jobbed at JD. This is old school dead man Taker we're talking about...he just doesn't lose. And it's not like they have any big plans for Booker, other than turning him into Papa Shango 2004.

If Mordechai interferes in the match at JD, it will result in a Disqualification. Taker won't job clean in this persona, so a DQ would be sufficient, and then a two-on-one style beating that Taker eventually dominates.

I was considering 'Taker dominating the two, but maybe Booker could just walk (not run) away - that way, he won't look weak for what is most likely a feud with Eddy.

A feud which I would much rather see blown-off at SummerSlam, but I doubt that SmackDown! could manage that right now.

Im thinking that Booker isn't the next Papa Shango, however whatever was awoken in the graveyard would be.

Imagine if Mordicai was going to be the next Undertaker style that the Old Undertaker would almost manage.

Pretty much Lord of Darkness stuff Ministry.

Has anyone gotten this weeks WO yet? Dave on The Law sunday said "we have an update on what Booker T is going to be doing and you're not going to like it" with a quote like that I doubt he's going to be in line for a title shot with Eddie any time soon.

I think Trivia has a point.

If I remember correctly, the psychic (or whatever she was - an embarassment) told Booker that the key to beating the Undertaker was in the unmarked grave. Mordecai was "awoken" or some shit by Booker T, causing him to fly half way across the country and get involved in a fake fight on PPV.

That would be very disappointing. Who the hell are they going to throw at him next? They'd be crazy to keep the Bradshaw feud going, Big Show may not be ready, they can't run Chavo against him since they did that fairly recently already. Heel-turned RVD? Book is the only logical choice, which would mean Book should go over Taker at JD (ideally clean, but I'll take via interference as long as Book doesn't look like crap throughout the match).

Me too, I'm hoping for a decent 10 - 15 minute match very similar to what I saw at my house show that involved a clean finish. But now that you guys mention it, I'm sure Mordecai will infact debut on the PPV. It was only 4 years ago, they kept showing the UT promos (even though you weren't supposed to know its him) and it kept saying the judgment day is approaching or something and low and behold he appears at JD. I'm expecting the same with Mordecai since they're adveritising him in the same way.

What would be nice is Booker does beat the Undertaker so at The Great American Bash or Vengeance we get Booker / Guerrero and Mordecai / Undertaker.

Seven may be another shitty hoss wrestler, but damn I thought the Mordecai character itself was pretty interesting. Very elaborate intro I must say, I hope its the same one he does on the PPV.

Booker T beating Undertaker by pinfall from any amount of interference has the same odds as...

(Spoiler Concerning Bad blood)

Kane beating Chris Benoit for the World Title

Anyone else I would expect a run in and a screw job. But this is the The Undertaker so he beats Booker T clean and then gets attacked by Mordecai post match.

And Chavo jobs to Jacqueline.

We better get Booker vs. Eddie at GAB, because I'll be there!

And if Jacqueline is still cruiserweight champ by then, I'm doing a run in and taking her out.

Bingo.

This is the guy they let beat up whole tag teams and heel stables. They should send Taker over to Raw, where he could feud with all of Evolution--simultaneously. The odds would be almost even.

Silly, we need Triple H and Taker on seperate shows, then nobody can get over :)

If you think that Vince isn't going to keep Bradshaw in the main event picture until at least the GAB, you're mistaken. There's no way he's pulled from the feud this quickly just to put Booker involved.

I see GAB with Eddie/Bradshaw in a gimmick rematch, and Taker/Booker in a casket match or something. I see Mordecai as a more slowly developing feud, like Taker/Kane, since Fertig still needs to time improve and get his character over.

Was the Unforgiven 2001 match really as bad as everyone makes it out to be?

It was No Mercy 2001 and LOTC summed it up well...it wasn't offensive (*1/2-ish if you're into ratings)

Logic? On SD? NO WAY.

But I will say this...that's a logical idea.

Even a blind man can see that it is beyond obvious that Mordecai will be involved during the Taker/Booker match.

The No Mercy match was dull as hell, and the finish was ripped from Taker-HHH at Wrestlemania X-7 (Booker does the "10 punch in the corner" thing, but Taker just hooks Booker's tights and hits the Last Ride.)

And there was no Mordecai promo. It's not like that would have IMPROVED the show any.
