Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted May 13, 2004 Yeah, I can see the Matt Hardy/Kane mini-feud being dropped neatly, paving the way for a singles run for Matt. It could be citing the return of Jeff Hardy, it being kept under wraps pretty well, unlike, say, Chris Benoit going over to Raw - and even if it would do nothing for Matt in singles, a Matt/Kane program would bring Jeff back rather well. But I'd much rather have Matt, Jeff and Lita reunite than that - the only positive would Matt being pushed as a singles star on Raw, and even that wouldn't happen for a while, due to the fact that an angle such as that will take a long time to blow off. Or if Kane does go over, Matt can job clean in a damn good match as the No. 1 contender. And I'd much prefer a straight (Matt) Hardy/Christian feud to lead into SummerSlam, which could be done. Dropping the womens program wouldn't make or break anything. All of the above applies only if WWE aren't intending on bringing Jeff Hardy back at this point in time. A program involving those three would only be acceptable if Kane killed Lita, and Matt did indeed find a secret potion to bring Lita back to life, but at SummerSlam, the match was Kane VS Lita, and the stipulations were if Matt wins, he gets to use the potion, and if Kane wins, he gets to have sex with the dead Lita, keeping her preserved until WrestleMania where it happens. Oh yeah, and Kane wins, burying Matt in a 0:05 squash. That would be the only acceptable thing for them to do. In fact, I would rather than than nothing at all. Then Matt can get revenge on Kane and finally move on to a real main event feud with Mark Henry, while Jeff Hardy returns as enhancement talent for Velocity.
