One off of the top of my head is leaving the union so he could go with the "You want to use my name? Pay me" method. The man has more money than the next 3 generations of his family will be able to spend and yet he does this. The real people that suffer are the kids who want to play a videogame and be the biggest homer threat in the game today. Along with that I believe jerseys with the Bonds # and name have been pulled from racks as well.

He's getting fair value for his abilities, something for which ALL of us strive. The videogame thing is pointless. Three minutes of editing and you've got him in MVP Baseball. He doesn't need the extra money and a man with class would just say to hell with it and let the kids and other fans enjoy being his fan. It seems like he's alienating himself from them more and more through these acts though.

These "asshole" characters the media and fans love to tear down do nothing to earn those labels outside of their dealings with the press. The real assholes are committing crimes, raising havoc, and not contributing. Bonds hits, and that's my only daily viewing of him. Therefore, he's OK in my book.
