Ravenbomb Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 gah, how could I forget Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory?
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory is a great film, full of entertaining musical numbers, nice colours and awesome special effects, most of which are simple.
Guest Museite Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 But the Ted Danson version is only recent. Yeah but I was deffo under 16 when it was made, that's close enough to childhood for me.
Downhome Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory is a great film, full of entertaining musical numbers, nice colours and awesome special effects, most of which are simple. Come with meeeee... and you'll beeeee... in a world... of pure imagination!
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 The movies that I mentioned are the type that I haven't really seen since I was about 4-5 years old, so when I watch them now, the memories come flooding back of how I interpreted things then and how they made me feel. Wonderful feeling.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 You know, it's not called Charlie and the Chocolate Facotory. THat's the name of the book. That's what they should've named the movie, anyway. It's what everyone calls it. Either that or "Willy Wonka," and that's not the name of the movie either.
Guest Mosaicv2 Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 Ducktales the movie- Treasure of the Lost Lamp Godzilla vs Megalon (I FUCKIN LOVED THIS MOVIE AS A KID!) that above & whole lot other Godzilla movies Back to the Future (now why dont make like a tree... & get OUT OF HERE!) It's a much more aestetically pleasing name, and was the name of the source material to boot.
HarleyQuinn Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 The Fox and the Hound I'll never forget Tod and Copper! I had a record/book of this when I was young also and I would listen to it all the time. I use to have a doll of Copper which I've since lost and remain heartbroken over, heh. That's probably the first movie on my list with others being The Sandlot, Mary Poppins and 101 Dalmations(Animated Version).
Guest Vitamin X Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 My childhood classic was "The Brave Little Toaster". I was also obsessed with TNMT, due in part because my name is Leonardo.

Jimmy The Kid Popeye Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Follow That Bird No Holds Barred (ducks chair) Probably a lot more, but my memory sucks.
The Czech Republic Posted May 22, 2004 Report Posted May 22, 2004 Return To Oz was sorta creepy, giving Dorothy electroshock therapy and all. And there's The Gump! That thing was f'ed up, man. Sandlot was a classic movie. In fact I shall watch it now. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory owns you and your future children.
