Guest Donners Report post Posted May 29, 2004 For some reason I thought they would have the best match of the past week, which was rather confusing (not to mention annoying when i have to wait 45 days). This sounds good though. I'd particularly like to direct a few WWE marks I know to the third match and let them know what they're being denied...

The Lynn/AJ/Ki match where Low-Ki wins the belt is SO much better than the Ladder Match. Best ever TNA match IMO. Kazarian vs AJ? That was very lethargic if I remember correctly. Why not put the original Sabin/Kazarian match which was from around that time?
Guest JacK Report post Posted May 30, 2004 AMW vs the Naturals is an odd choice. Sign of things to come perhaps? Hopefully there going to do this every week for like the rest of the year . . . that'd own something severe.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2004 It really seems that TNA is going out of their way to get the attention/support of the internet fans. They'd do that better if they didn't have a billion run-in's and ref bumps in every main event each week. Seriously. You know the booking of the matches is terrible when you see THREE ref bumps in one 12-minute match. If you can't create drama without resorting to those easy tools, you suck as a booker. Dutchy boy, I'm looking your way...
Guest Donners Report post Posted May 31, 2004 The Lynn/AJ/Ki match where Low-Ki wins the belt is SO much better than the Ladder Match. Best ever TNA match IMO. Yeah, I've got that one on tape and have watched it probably a dozen times. Shame the ending is a bit screwed up, with AJ climbing to the top while Low Ki is already pinning, and the ref having a huge pause between "two" and "three" to allow him to jump. As for ref bumps, they've been all too frequent in TNA since long before Dutch was around, so it's a bit harsh to point the finger at him. Incidentally, I watching "WrestleMania's Greatest Matches" on the WM DVD set, and probably half of the top-10 had ref bumps in just the brief highlights they showed. Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2004 Yeah, I'm not doubting that you get one ref bump per WWE show. However...HOW OFTEN DO THEY HAVE MULTIPLE REF BUMPS IN THE SAME MATCH?! TNA does this frequently. If they want to please the IWC again, let the workers go all-out. If the main event guys get overshadowed by the undercard X-Division workers, then maybe TNA should question why they're paying the main event guys. Fuck, even when the X-Division workers were still allowed to go apeshit for 15 minutes, who was more over: The Amazing Red or The Truth? The Truth. Why? Because he's earned his main event spot by being good in the ring, good on the stick, and knowing how to work a crowd. THAT is what gets somebody into the main event: being GOOD. But instead, we get daddy's golden boy, a young legend-in-the-making that they'll never push properly, and random additions by guys that shouldn't be ANYWHERE near the main event. Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted May 31, 2004 Well, the matches look okay, at best. But for those of you who didn't witness the SYTLES CLASH '03, it was SICK. (AJ vs Kazarian) the London match and the Natural's match weren't anything special, if memory serves... Odd choices...
