LivingLegendGaryColeman 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2004 Test needs to be put in a tag team I've decided. Keep him off TV till he gets long hair, bring back the leather pants and make him mean Test again. "Dick" Test worked well, his short hair image. Actually, Test how we last saw him might work with Cade. Actually, drop the "" from my statement and make him Garrison Cade's partner for sure. The team of Garrison Cade and Dick Test. tbondrage99 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2004 I thought of it earlier tonight and said it somewhere else before but am I the only one thinks that Steven Richards and Johnny Nitro would make a good tag team?
Krankor 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2004 They both look similar and both are basically doing nothing useful right now so it could work. Johnny Nitro would have to change his last name to Johnny Velocity and their gimmick would be the kings of weekend programming.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted June 8, 2004 Why not Johnny Excess? or Johnny Confidential? Just to keep with the theme of cancedl tv shows.
Krankor 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2004 Johnny Jakked or Johnny Shotgun Saturday Night If he's going to go with a current TV programming name it's going to have to be................. Johnny The WWE Experience
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2004 If he does change his name...Johnny Starrcade! If he doesn't, get Matt Cappotelli out from wherever he is...call him Matty Thunder, and make them a tag team.
Krankor 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2004 If the tag team were Johnny Nitro and Matt Thunder they would have to hail from Atlanta, Georgia.

Australian Pride 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2004 Where's Lance Storm? Him and Test would make a decent big man/little man combo on Raw. If the Coach has done any training, then he and Cade could be bearable as a team, and Coach can easily carry the promo side of things. Eugene and Regal have to team up eventually, and with Eugene being so over a run with the gold isn't out of the question there. Maybe a Tajiri/Stevie Richards alliance could work as well. Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted June 9, 2004 I wouldn't mind if the Evolution get the tag team belts back, because that does have a kinda 4 horseman feel.. But jesus Put Orton instead of Flair in the tag teaming. Flair should be J J Dillioning It instead of being so active, he might break something.
Guest Real F'n Show Report post Posted June 9, 2004 Maybe a Tajiri/Stevie Richards alliance could work as well. I like that idea. Imagine the funny shit they could do in their skits. It could be like the second coming of Mikey/Tajiri. Just as long as they don't get stuck on Heat all the time like Hurricane and Rosey.
Guest HardcoreMF'nHolly Report post Posted June 10, 2004 Yeah the Tag title scene blows, I'll be the first to admit it. In fact I havent even like the tag division since Raw & Smackdown originally split from on another. But I had to admit it was starting to finally look up again before Wrestlemania this year, when both Raw and Smackdown had tag matchs that featured 4 teams each. Then it hit the fan again. The Lottery draft which split up two teams, Mark Jindrack & Garrison Cade, which yeah no one cared about anyways, but the big blow was the splitting up of The Worlds Greateast Tag Team with Benjiman & Haas granted Benjiman & Haas havent missed a step since it happened but still they were one of the beat tag teams in the WWE since the days of E&C, The Hardys, & The Dudleys were all killing each other in TLC matches. Also Smackdown took another blow with the Firing of Faarooq, ending the APA, and whats worse giving Bradshaw a unforgiveable push to the moon. Anyways I sat back and thought about it, how many tag teams are left. To say I was suprised when I figured it out was a understatement. Smackdown believe it or not has no less then 8 tag teams they can use, they can actually have a successful tag team division. Think about it they have the tag champs Charlie Haas & Rico which I bought as a tag team easily and right away, and then theres also, The Dudley Boys, The Basham Brothers, Scotty 2 Hotty & Rikishi, The F.B.I, and if they choose to continue to use them as teams theres also Akio & Sakoda, Billy Gunn & Hardcore Holly, & Paul London & Billy Kidman. So the Smackdown divsion although littered with crappy teams like The Bashams, Gunn & Holly, & Scotty & Rikishi, still have enough teams for a successful tag division, if they truely ulitized it. After figuring this out I thought what about Raw? Maybe they have some other teams that I never thought of, but alas they dont. Raws tag division rounds out with just there champs, La Resistance, and The Hurricane & Rosey.....what a sad state thats it, but just look at there last few tag champs on Raw, Benoit & Edge? Flair & Batista? Booker T & RVD? C'mon those are all teams that were just slapped together, granted Flair & Batista are both Evolution members but that dosnt make them a real tag team. So the question is what in the hell can Raw do to actually have a good tag division? What can RAW do? RAW should be the only brand that has tag team wrestling. Smackdown should feature cruiserweights. This way there won't be as many of the same feuds over and over again.
griffinmills 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2004 RAW should be the only brand that has tag team wrestling. Smackdown should feature cruiserweights. This way there won't be as many of the same feuds over and over again. That sounds like a decent idea actually, it could have fit in with the "RAW vs. SD" pseudo feud that was going on a while back. Many people have said that WWE has more or less given up on SD though so I doubt we would see something in that vein. For a lot of the more workrate hungry folks it would have had to of been a division more respectable than even the WCW CW division of yore and I doubt WWE could pull that off. WWE would be more likely to sell it as "Kid friend happy bouncy fun action!" This would seem to fit in with the younger crowd that the currently gimmicky heavy SD program seems liklier to attract. Would they have CW tag matches though?? Overall it seems an idea that would be great in the hands of more competent writers than the WWE is currently employing. Without Tag Teams how would the writers get all those "wacky partners who hate each other" to end up fighting!?
