UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2004 Yo, Why do I see a Kazarian/Styles match listing for whoever posted the "TNA Preview 6/9" when some markets, such as Philly, may not want their results spoiled. Some control or rule needs to be established here. Thanks for ruining the ending to the "#1 contender's match" for me.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted June 5, 2004 Oh, please. There was no way Styles was going to lose to Sabin, Shane or Skipper. I would be more upset for learning about say the results of the Tag Title match.

thecitythesky 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2004 * then don't look at the preview. did you think there'd be no continuity between the shows.? would you be upset if you checked RAW's preview thread and saw matches contingant on the PPV from the previous night you hadn't watched.? Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2004 Ugh, shut up. Most of us get it at 3pm on Friday. And because of that, the results are no longer spoilers. Avoid the thread until then. It's not that difficult.

AnonymousBroccoli 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2004 "Styles vs. Kazarian" appears in the sub-title of the PPV preview thread. As far as I've seen, Styles wasn't even announced to be in the #1 contender's match on Impact!, and his return to the division was something of a surprise for the new show. There's your spoiler. Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2004 "Styles vs. Kazarian" appears in the sub-title of the PPV preview thread. As far as I've seen, Styles wasn't even announced to be in the #1 contender's match on Impact!, and his return to the division was something of a surprise for the new show. There's your spoiler. Exactly. It's not contained in a thread, it's in the sub-title, where it's impossible to miss, barring not reading the TNA folder. If you're going to post a preview for the following week, how hard is it to say "TNA Preview for (date)" without putting a subtitle? Personally, I don't mind, but I'm sure there are people who do. would you be upset if you checked RAW's preview thread and saw matches contingant on the PPV from the previous night you hadn't watched.? Apples & oranges. In your example, the person *chose* not to watch the PPV, whereas in this case the show hasn't even aired yet in this market.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2004 I didn't read the preview. I clicked on the thread. The subtitle of the thread had the match, which revealed the winner. I was looking for match listings for tonight's show. Sorry if it seems like I was "bitching"...as I've never complained about spoilers before. But honestly, I was upset whe TNA wasn't being shown in Philly, and now that it IS (late), I was looking forward to seeing a non-spoiled show. I knew Styles was in that X-title shot match. It's easy to type "cry a river" or "quit bitching" or whatever...but I thought I raised a legitimate point. Sorry if you disagree.

UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2004 I didn't click on the site. I was trying out a new (and quite undeserving, based on recent results) product. Thus, they are spoilers. TDinDC, if TNA fans speak with as much intelligence as your well-thought out responses, I shall laugh as the company dies along with your brain cells from the abnormal spreading of severe STDs from whatever Washington, D.C. whore you've been lucky enough to pay for. Fuck you, cock sucking prick. Spaceman Spiff excluded. And by the way, if you fans of TNA are going to support the product, this board is a VERY POOR example, and it just shows that you're idiots. Philly, the #2 wrestling market in America doesn't get the show 'til Saturday. So your "fuck off! we get the show! we'll spoil it if we want to!" attitude shows that you don't care about the product, but rather yourselves. I'm right, fuck off. Stop posting spoilers. Styles 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2004 Yo- if this is referring to me, I don't understand the problem. I get the show at 4 am Sat morning, and I posted to preview after, Philly get's the show 12 midnight Sat, so you should see the show BEFORE me. I don't see the problem... And just to clarify, as a loyal fan I try to do my part to promote the company the best that I can, so I picked out 2 matches I knew would be eye catching to the board as the teaser. If this really bothers you, I'll try not to do it in the future. Sheesh...
HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2004 I'm right, fuck off. Stop posting spoilers. You're not right... They weren't spoilers. It was a preview for the PPV. WE don't write that. TNA (Borash I think) writes that. We just post it. If you were going to read it anyway, what the hell is the point of all this?
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted June 6, 2004 This went over like my complaint of Canadians spoiling Smackdown results before they aired. If anyone cares, a mod just went "Don't read the thread" because idiots don't know Smackdown isn't Raw, and doesn't air at the same time in all markets. UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2004 This will be my last comment. Spike, the point is, I wasn't going to READ IT ANYWAYS. I didn't click the thread. I saw a subtitle while looking for listings of matches I didn't hear of. Just watch spoilers in sub-titles, man. Not a big deal.

UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2004 Hey...good show. I loved the feel of it being "new" and innovative with an emphasis on the high/quick spots by the X-stars. Jarrett/Dusty segment slowed it down, but overall, a much better show than Raw. Thumps up from several people.

I'm sure it was an honest mistake, but to be safe, you should probably leave off a sub-title. Saying "Official TNA Preview For (date)" will get people to read the thread anyway, even if there isn't a sub-title listing matches.
