Can any of you guys give me some Jack Evans matches to check out? Everything I've seen from him has been sloppy and crap.

Not really a fan of Jacks work but in a tourny like this he could do well as long as he trys to put togther a match instead of just doing a few sick flips and taking a deadly bump

Yeah and he was very good in that, but in all of the regular matches I've seen he is very sloppy and can't even perform basic wrestling holds.

Evans is a pretty good replacement for Teddy, with his almost guarenteed loss in the first round i'd expect him to pull out some of his usual fun stuff in the three-way and losers four-way.

He's very good in the 8-man tag on ROH 5/22. His match with American Dragon on 6/24 got rave reviews too, but thats not out yet, and Dragon is god.

anyway if acid turns back to being heel he coude get a good match out of evans. rudo base acid rules, face acid sucks.

Apparently Maff said he wanted to do the match 'CZW style' and got the fans to throw chairs into the ring.

He won a 2nd round match vs. Nick Gage to enter the third round.

 

 

The order of the tourney is a little screwey due to people pulling out and an inability to put together a tournament match last month (due to running at the same time as several other feds). B-Boy was supposed to face Mafia but was swapped with Gage who was supposed to face Joker (who went to Iraq).

 

B-Boy, Whitmer and Chris Hero are now in the 2nd round, I'm guessing they'll do a 7th 1st round match to get the final 2nd round guy Ah, the perils of an 11 month tournament.

I'm now inspired to go to TOD3 and the next Arena show for whatever reason.
