The conversations were more simplistic on chatrooms.

Chatrooms suck. You have 30 people or so. Only 8 are talking, and it's 3 different conversations. People keep jumping in and out of the room...so you get way too many ASLs. Plus too many people trying to cyber...badly

Forums. Though the old school WDI Chats 0wned.

 

It's a pity that TSM isn't capable of having a great chatroom like that.

Chatrooms are more fun, but never really quite work out to the best of their potential. Forums are better for that reason, since not everyone has to be on at the exact same time to reply to a topic, and you can still peruse through topics and whatnot. Plus, chatrooms as a whole are way more out of control, no moderation whatsoever.. Yahoo! used to be a great place for chats, but it's become on the level of, or worse than AOL lately.
