Enigma Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 The word going around is that Paul Bearer’s current run with WWE will most probably finish up at the PPV this weekend. Credit: PWInsider
Crimson G Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 So they're going to finish the storyline at the PPV. It's only like two weeks old. It wasn't that bad of a (rehashed) storyline.
King Cucaracha Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 OMG...so the really are going to fill the box with cement!!! Or...not.
Guest Real F'n Show Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 The way they should have him go out is, somehow fill the casket with cement, so the fans think Bearer is dead. Then have Heyman bring out a concrete Paul Bearer, ala Han Solo in Star Wars. Eventually Taker will go after Heyman and the Dudleys can smash the concrete Paul Bearer to pieces. That would be hilarious.
2GOLD Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 Boy, got to love the thinking of this company. As in no thinking involved at all. Smackdown really is the throw away program to them.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 And so now Undertaker is just Biker Taker with an UT symbol on his tights. Yeah, like I actually gave a crap 2 months ago. Any reason WHY Paul Bearer isn't coming back, or is it just speculation?
OldSchoolWrestling Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 So is Paul going to start up his website again and bash Vince for not using him properly, at least until the next time he comes back again?
Guest Ronnie755 Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 The new online Torch mentions something about this a well. It looks like they're going to stick with Paul Heyman being The Undertaker's manager.
Lil' Bitch Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 Well, he just underwent surgery, I hope he's okay.
Hektik Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 Good, now give him some new music in the style of his "deadman walking" theme. It's about time they put an end to a his 13 year old deadman gimmick. Long live heel MMA Biker Taker.
justsoyouknow Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 The way they should have him go out is, somehow fill the casket with cement, so the fans think Bearer is dead. LaParkaYourCar Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 So WWE is going to "murder" Paul Bearer and we're supposed to just assume that no one gets punished for it storyline wise? I guess that should be expected of WWE seeing as Shane McMahon tried to kill Kane many times as well as other attempted murders over the years. The Dudley Boys smashing a concrete Paul Bearer into pieces would actually be kind of funny seeing as in real life being enclosed in concrete wouldn't make you fall to pieces when smashed...oh and the Dudleys could claim they were hardcore because they killed a man!
Guest whitemilesdavis Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 the Dudleys could claim they were hardcore because they killed a man! Oh god, not another veiled shoot on New Jack from the Dudleys.
The Mandarin Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 I assume Undertaker is going to win and then allow the concrete to be dumped on Bearer. Or something stupid like that.
Guest M. Harry Smilac Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 I knew Biker Taker was coming back after or at GAB. Deadman Vs. Kane was the money match for WMXX and i'm sure they were expecting Deadman Vs. Brock to be another money match for Summerslam. Now that Brock is gone and Undertaker is supposed to be this lockerroom leader i'm sure he wants to drop the deadman gimmick more then anyone else. Not like he needs it to squash ppl anyways.

Guest Anglesault Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 Is there a real legit reason that the cops don't put an end to this? I mean as the match is going on, come out, arrest Heyman, arrest the cement guy and arrest Bubba and D-Von?
LaParkaYourCar Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 Yeah in real life Undertaker would just call the cops and say, "Hey this guy has threatened to kill my friend."
King Cucaracha Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 Nevermind the fact they've kidnapped the guy. Man. What a place the WWE must be to live.
OldSchoolWrestling Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 Is there a real legit reason that the cops don't put an end to this? I mean as the match is going on, come out, arrest Heyman, arrest the cement guy and arrest Bubba and D-Von? They only book cops onto the show once a month and they've already reached their quota.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 I mean, honestly, alot of what goes on in the WWE can be waved off as "so and so signed for this (Inferno Match, HiaC, Casket)" or that they refused to press charges after the fact. This really can't.

Surely they could just use jobbers in those kinky cop outfits you can buy in joke/sex shops. 'Cop': Err...we've had a complaint that you've kidnapped someone. Heyman: You've got no proof London! 'Cop': ... Or even better, use Funaki.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 Don't give them ideas... NEXT WEEK ON SMACKDOWN! Paul London, Billy Kidman, and Funaki adopt a cop trio gimmick.
The Mandarin Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 I mean, honestly, alot of what goes on in the WWE can be waved off as "so and so signed for this (Inferno Match, HiaC, Casket)" or that they refused to press charges after the fact. This really can't. Well, y'know, Undertaker tried to kill his brother in a fire, Paul Bearer watched and organized the attempted murder via arson of Undertaker at Royal Rumble 1998, Paul Heyman was involved in attempted rape/sexual harassment with Brock Lesnar and Undertaker's wife around No Mercy 2002 and the Dudleyz tried to break either Tazz or Spike Dudley's neck in a parking lot in Jan. of 2002. So it's not like they're first-timers.
Guest JacK Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 Reading that makes it seriously sound like they're going to cementerise him, LIVE on PAY PER VIEW! Although if that happened it wouldn't be his *last* appearance per se, I'm sure there'd be highlight's on Smackdown of it.
LaParkaYourCar Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 What will probably happen is the concrete mixer will be set up in the parking garage. Taker will lose and then bolt for the back where he finds the casket already filled with concrete and goes into either a berserker rage or a crying fit while Heyman laughs.
Guest Evolution Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 NEXT WEEK ON SMACKDOWN! Paul London, Billy Kidman, and Funaki adopt a cop trio gimmick. Would they charge criminals with "3 Count"s of murder? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Cruiserweight stables are FUNNY. (YeahIknowKidmanLondonandFunakiweren'tin3count)
Guest Trivia247 Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 I can't much of a storyline if it does go down that Heyman fills the tank with cement... he loses his only leverage on the Undertaker. He wanted at least intially the Undertaker to join his group. With bribery and threats on Bearers life. If Bearer goes there goes heyman's leverage. And besides if your in character in the WWE would you even want the Undertaker even more pissed at you than he already is?

Steviekick Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 If they do kill of Bearer, it will be the first important storyline based death of a character. I don't count Al Wilson. THe thing is that it will come across being really lame though.
