Chazz Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 I actually like The Plot Device of an Interim G.M. It breaks the monotony of seeing The regular G.M. week after week. That being said, I still don't think It has been used to It fullest potential. When they have done It, It just didn't seem like the person they choose for The Role was running The Show In their own particular way that fit their personna. (Other than the Musical Chairs Opening to last week's Raw, It just seemed like another show,IMO) Does anyone besides me still like the Idea of an Interim G.M.? If so, who would you like to see In charge of Raw or Smackdown! for a week or two? Discuss.
NoCalMike Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 If they keep having a bias GM, then NO ONE.
haVoc Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Maybe Raw will have a new GM all together? Eric Bischoff no showed the house show in Worcester over the weekend. No word yet on why he did not appear as scheduled. Credit: 411 First off, 411 didn't report where they got this from which is weird for them. If that's true and him not being on the PPV last night, are his WWE days done? Wasn't there rumors about his contract being up soon a little while back?
Guest Repo Man Reborn Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 I still vote for NOBODY. Book a card, show it at the beginning and stick to it.
algrim Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Regal would be a good choice. They could put Flair also.
cawthon777 Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 I'll settle for anyone that can put together a few quality matches and a main event that goes a good 20 minutes without the whole show turning into some overbooked Russo-esque mess.
razazteca Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Flair, Regal, Steven Richards, Chief Morely, JR.
Guest Evolution Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Flair, Regal, Steven Richards, Chief Morely, JR. JR would be a rather interesting choice. The fact that he has been the mouthpiece of the WWE for so long and yet never has really had any storyline "stroke" as it were would probably make for something fairly interesting.
razazteca Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Maybe this time JR can bring back both Dr Death and Stone Cold as his enforcers.
Guest Staravenger Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Maybe this time JR can bring back both Dr Death and Stone Cold as his enforcers. Don't tease me, man!
Kizzo Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Eric Bischoff is the best GM......even with bad material...he still does a good job.....I have feeling that Uncle Eric will not be in WWE for very long.....and with rumors of a Ted Turner return....I see Eric once again running a wrestling promotion...
Guest The Ultimate Fantasy Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 You know what would be kinda cool? HHH as GM.
DerangedHermit Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Maybe this time JR can bring back both Dr Death and Stone Cold as his enforcers. How about Fake Diesel and Fake Razor Ramon? Fake Diesel can't be any worse than feuding with Lita.
Brett Favre Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Kane as a GM would be the best. Imagine all the wrestlers going into his office (which would have some horror type theme to it) and asking for matches scared shitless. I'd pay to see that.
Guest Staravenger Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 But who will Kane use to punish people?? "OK, since you want a match so bad, tonight, you have a match....versus MAX MINI!"
razazteca Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Maybe this time JR can bring back both Dr Death and Stone Cold as his enforcers. How about Fake Diesel and Fake Razor Ramon? Fake Diesel can't be any worse than feuding with Lita. The Steve Williams duo would be entertaining even though neither is healthy enough to have a match. "I wish death on you" now has a new meaning. Dr Death could come out and use whatever headbump moves he used in Japan on people. Then Stone Cold! Stone Cold! Stone Cold! could come down and taunt people by pouring beer on them.
algrim Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 The Coach That would be funny as hell (at first). Having Coach as GM might result in him focusing his attentions on the announcers or on Tajiri.
